Easily digested! Happy dog owner!
Have two Welsh Corgis. One eats anything and everything. One has problems with digestion and usually turns up his nose on almost any food. He just lays down and will not eat. I think he knows, by the smell, whether or not it is going to give him problems. Have tried for years to find a dog food that smells OK to him and is easily digestible. Instinct and Pinnacle are the only foods he eats readily for which I am extremely grateful. It is stressful to see your dog having diarrhea every time he eats. I will stick with Instinct.

My dogs love Instinct.
My two papillons absolutely love Instinct dry dog food. Grain free and high in protein and all natural ingredients. How can you go wrong?I rotate my dogs among the different varieties. One of my dogs did encounter a touch of loose stool when switched to the rabbit diet.

Great for dogs with food allergies!
My dog has severe allergies, both food and environmental. Since switching to the Instinct rabbit flavor dog food, her itching has decreased dramatically. I was told by the vet that rabbit is the least allergenic meat for some dogs and it's proven to be the best for mine. I've tried other uncommon meat flavors (lamb, duck,etc.) and she still itches. She also has issues with grains so the fact that it's grain free is a must. The pellets are small so it's great for my little dog and she loves it.

Great food.My only issue is the high price. Oh and it stinks really bad but my beagle loves it and seems in better heath when she is on it.

Stop hotspots!
Get to the bottom of what your Bichon Frise may be allergic to. To avoid beef, chicken, grain, or other typical dog food allergens, rotate monthly kibble flavors and raw medallions for a lovely coat. After switching for one month, the sores are gone and hair regrowth of my pup is coming in. In two months, I hope the hotspot will be gone!*UPDATE: 2/13/13My Bichon is two now and does great with the Salmon Instinct dry food. No itching, scratching, or hot spots! He has a gorgeous coat, and never chews at himself unless we breakdown and give him a treat like chicken from the dinner table.You may have to try more than one Instinct flavor before you find the right protein source for your dog. Fish is the only protein my dog is not allergic to, but it is so worth it to have a happy healthy dog.
