I was concerned initially, because it didn't have the typical two felt washers, but the red rubber washer on top does a great job. Already used it on a big band gig, no problems, and the quick release mechanism works great.

One of few clutches that protect the top bell
Really like this so far; it does require some re-tightening from time to time, depending on how hard you play. I love that it protects the top cymbal bell. Not many clutches are plastic in this area. Will it wear more quickly? Probably, but I'd rather replace a clutch than a set of Zildjian New Beats.

quick, easy, and awesome
FAN FRIGGIN TASTIC. Love this thing. No more slipping threads so that top hat can't fall off the clutch anymore. It's also super quick to set up at a gig, if there will ever be gigs anymore anyway. I'm fairly certain it works on most stands. I put it on my PDP stand that's like 15 years old.
