Excellent customer service!! I had the worst luck with the keys on the first set of latches I ordered - my mechanic broke them. I contacted AutoHeaven and told them the situation. I was legit locked out of my Jeep, and had to get a locksmith to drill the locks. They sent me another set fully understanding the situation. The keys with the old set were structurally flawed making them easy to break, and they recognized this. Not only did they send a new set (complimentary), but the new set was one in which the keys were structured better. I got the new set in less than a week too. The latches themselves are great and work with no problems. Easy install, 10 minutes tops. I really appreciate knowing my Jeep is secure when I leave it. Thank you guys so much!

I just installed the locks. Getting the bolt on the bottom latch was not super easy if you have large hands. Once you get that sorted install is pretty easy. Holds the hood down very tight. Maybe too tight? I have to hook both sides in without closing and then try to close them at the same time otherwise it pulls to one side. I honestly believe someone with a screwdriver or a crow bar would get through these in about 2 seconds so not sure how much security they provide but I am looking forward to no more hood flutter. It scared the crap out of me the first time I experienced it.

I installed these last night and it took about 20mins. If I was installing a second set it would be much less time. They latch is adjustable but I found out it has to be all the way down so no need to leave things lose, check and retighten. The one lock is a bit lose in the housing compared to the other side but it does not seem to be defective. The finish is very shiny, just like chrome. These will definitely keep the hood from shaking on the highway and a major improvement over stock...and it locks.

Hood flutter no more! These are super sturdy and look great.Make sure to drop the front grill down to do the install so you can fish your socket wrench up next to the headlights to remove the bolt on the bottom of the latch.Also don’t forget to pull the rubber isolator off your factory latch on the fender and install it on the new one.The garage couple has an excellent how to video on YouTube for reference, watch that and you’ll be fine 👍

Great product. Just received and installed my hood latches and they have a great tight fit. To me the locking capability is an added bonus to these hood latches. Very easy to install, took about 20 minutes. Can’t wait to see how they perform in a cross wind since my main reason to get the latches was that I was tired of the hood fluttering in a heavy cross wind. I can definitely recommend these latches since they seem to be well made and fit really well.

I installed these, and my hood would not go down, the drivers side was hitting on the bottom bracket...so I went to remove the passenger side to see what was wrong and the bolt BROKE off!! I’m a 134 LB 53 year old woman, I’m pretty sure I am not strong enough to have tightened too tight!! In fact, the nut never actually stopped I decided that it HAD to be tight enough! SO, turns out my hood or fender is out of alignment, and with my boyfriends help, he found another bolt we ran thru and then some maneuvering, we were able to get the hood down and latched!! So, ck your hood before ordering, and if it’s off even a little, I would not order these! I take the blame for the hood, but the bolt being “welded” to the piece of aluminum or whatever these are made of is not a good design!!

Love the look got them and didn’t realize how thick they would be in relation to the original latches, putting them on wasn’t too hard just time consuming haven’t had any hood flutter at all since I went and put them on. My only concern is that the nuts are a little small for the holes and there is no washers that come with them ended up putting on my own and made me feel 100 percent better.
