DeepDream UV Black Light Led Strip 32.8Ft/10M Flexible Waterproof IP65 with 12V Power Supply

I bought these for a birthday gift for a 20 year old female. She absolutely loves them. They have been mounted where the walls and ceiling come together. Sure glad went with the higher watt as this is great. I can see a soft glow from them at night way across our home coming from her bedroom. She says she really likes them. She did say she wishes they were a bit brighter but they do what theyre supposed to do just fine. As for the mounting tape that comes on the back of the entire strip, great thought but doesn't hold. We used some glue dots to help out. Id say without them the entire string would be on the floor in less than an hour. I read lots of reviews before purchasing these and Im glad I did because they are nice, but Im not sure they should cost over $40 like I paid. Maybe if the sticky part worked. She needs another set to complete the look, but the one long strand does do the thing as far as the black light and the resulting objects in the room glowing. We mounted a huge tapestery thats also a 3-D one that came with glasses and the bkack light effect is awesome. Id say purchase these but know they need sum help in the stick on department. They do seem well made otherwise and are overall a nice product. Shipping was prime so it was great as always. They were packed very nice and come on a roll with the power box separate in the box. Ohhhh she did ask where the remote was for them, but I have since plugged them into a wifi plug and then into the wall socket. So they can be turned off and on thru an app on her phone!

I pulled this out of the box and the package it was in, plugged it up to a wall outlet with the plug that came with it and it came on for about one second and went right back off. I tried different outlets and it wont work. It is still on the spool it was shipped to me on. Deep Dream put a card in the box with the product and on the back it says " if you have any problem with their product to contact them and give them a chance to fix it before leaving a bad review." so the only contact info on the card was an email address so I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right so I emailed them. I haven't heard anything back from them!!!! I understand new products can fail and I'm ok with that but when they wont reply back? Yes, that disappoints me! They may get in touch with me eventually and if they do, I will be sure and change this rating but I feel 3-4 days is plenty enough time to respond to a person about your defected product you sent me and make it right!Update: I was contacted by Deep Dream which said they would send me another but in the meantime I figured out my problem. It was a faulty power cord. I cut the wires and hard wired it to my boat battery and it worked. Giving 3 stars due to faulty equipment that came with the lights.

These aren't bad. When I saw the wavelength, I suspected these were mostly just violet lights and not actually UV. While they do appear to be primarily violet light, they DO have enough true UV to make colors fluoresce, which is the whole point. They light up a dark room well enough, and you get the black light effect. They are obviously cheaper than the true professional lights, and the fluorescent effect isn't as intense, but that's expected at this price point. Overall, i'm satisfied. Anyone looking to light up a room for a party I think will be pleased with these.

Received on time and in great shape/shipping was perfect thank you. The black light itself isn't super sticky I ended up having to actually super glue it to the trim on the top of our wall around the room. Not a big deal but was a little annoying putting it up and then coming back 30 mins later to the entire thing peeled away from the wall :S also its not as much of a black light as a purple colored light. Black light items respond to it just not as much as a legit black light. I do like the product a lot though and it was totally worth it.

Put them up in bedroom at the very top of the wall. Used them daily for 2 1/2 months with no issue. And then suddenly they were blinking very quickly so we unplugged then and my husband looked over them and found 3 bulbs had popped and it was causing the string to short out. I have looked online to see if we could fix it somehow and haven't had any luck.Such a waste of time and money!

These worked great for about 3 months, then I noticed they would blink off and on every hour or so. As time progressed, they began to blink off and on more often and now it's more of a continuous strobe and they stay off for long periods and blink then off again. I had another set I had bought and changed out the power supply on the blinking ones and they came back to life. Now after about 2 months, I'm back to the strobe effect.

Lights are perfect and work flawlessly. The adhesive on the other hand could use some improvement. If you go into the purchase expecting to buy double sided tape, you will be happy. I would buy again.

These LED lights are way too dim. I wouldn't recommend them. I didn't return them because I waited too long to put them up and was very disappointed once I did.
