A very effective solution to hard ride of my trike, particularly the back wheels with no suspension. The ride is not squishy or floaty, but dampens all bumps.Seems to be of very high quality. Short manual guides you succinctly. The shim is only about 4 inches long, but closes the gap perfectly without any wobbling of the post.Do measure (or have measured) the diameter of the existing post with an accurate and sufficiently precise instrument.Edit: The hex screw of the integrated dual rail mounting was extremely difficult to turn. I eventually removed the screw entirely and discovered that it had been sealed in place with Loctite. This makes no sense for a part that is intended to be adjusted.

I liked the ease and angle of installation of the seat to the post. It’s easy to set the tension for the level of shock support I wanted.One complaint though. It squeaks as the shock works going over small bumps or dips. I had disassemble it shoot a bunch of WD40 into it to stop the squeaks.
