Cheap plastic end caps
I was suprised that the build quality seems below the usual AC Standards. Not saying te pump is bad because I haven't had it running long. It does indeed work with my Turboklone cloner. Hoping the AC quality surpasses the cheap plastic ends that ar on it.

A lifesaver for #bucketgang
My aquariums are small, so I can't really justify a python water changer. This means hauling heavy buckets of water during water change days. This small but mighty pump makes refilling my takes quick and easy and saves my back.

Good, but they changed the flow regulator
I specifically ordered this pump because it has a slider on the side to increase our decrease flow. What I got was a grate over the intake that turns to do the same function, but it wasn't what I wanted and certainly wasn't as shown,. It does work well though. Powerful enough for my purpose lifting water about four feet into my fishtank. Comes with two different size output nipples to give you choices in tubing sizes. Haven't had it long enough to say if it will last, but has worked great so far.

Perfect for a hydroponic grow. It works well. Careful not to over-tighten the threads!
I ordered this pump with the intention of building out a low pressure aeroponic grow system in a 27 gallon plastic tote. I have to say, this pump is perfect for that application. The 396 gph model seems to be a great compromise between pressure and power savings. If you are building out a similar grow, definitely don't go with a smaller pump. If you are building out a larger system than a single tote, consider going with a larger capacity pump. It seems to be pretty well built with one exception, be careful not to over tighten the attachments when threading them in. I used a pvc adapter (1/2 pvc threading fit into the pump perfectly btw) and cranked it a bit too hard. This cracked the little threaded receiver on the pump. Ultimately it wasn't a big deal. I repaired the crack with super glue and wrapped the connection with some thread tape to prevent any leaks. The pump is quiet and efficient. Though I can hear the water trickling in my system I don't hear the pump and it definitely is not audible from outside of my growing room (basement.)Happy pumping!
