Don’t cure top coat more than 15 seconds before applying chrome

Worth the wait!
This product is true to the example pictures they post. High quality! Took forever to arrive, but that was because the post office screwed up and was no fault of the seller. My nail tech loved this chrome powder and she’s going to buy all of the colors this company offers. Get it. You won’t be disappointed.

Love it!
I ordered the Aurora pigment. I was a little hesitant to spend $21 on one single jar of pigment but this is actually a larger size jar and there is a good amount of product included. The price still may be a little higher than I would have liked but I am very happy with my purchase. This pigment is STUNNING. I used OPI infinite shine base primer and two coats of infinite shine polish. Let that dry completely and then used a no wipe gel top coat, applied the pigment and then a second coat of top coat. This pigment really needed to be buffed into the nail to really make it shine. I have a few different tricks that I use to get nail pigments to buff out and I had to use them all to get this one to look it's best. First use a small brush or makeup eyeshadow applicator to apply a small amount of pigment to the nail. Then I used a silicone tip nail art carving pen to buff the pigment into the nail. Finally, I turned a rubber glove inside out and rubbed it over each nail. I know it sounds crazy but I saw a lady on youtube use a smooth rubber glove to buff the nail and it really helps bring out some extra shine. My nails are so gorgeous I can't stop looking at them. This is a great product.I'm my photos I show a gray nail next to the open product and then the same gray nail covered with this pigment next to the closed product

Good product, bad packaging
It's fine leafelet chrome particles and as far as I can tell it's not mica. It's lighter, floats in the air and like glitter, gets everywhere (lol). The material itself is rather nice, it's like a powder form of silver leafing allowing you to put it on controlled areas without the odd glue. Tacky paint is all you need. I was using it for resin and brushing it into silicon molds and I got the desired result. However, the desired result was more chrome, less powder applied appearance. It wasn't as chrome as the picture suggests but for a powder applique it was about what I expected. A touch better than inlay powder, a touch behind actual chrome. My complaint comes from the packaging. The small plastic container needed to be pried apart with pliars and constantly leaked the powder because the lid was given a decorative clear cover that wasn't secured to the lid. With minimal effort power leaked out, and the fight to get it off the first time was as if they tried to glue the clear decorative window to the lid and missed glueing the lid to the jar. After I got it opened, I superglued the lid together and have been using it since.

Beautiful!
I really love this chrome powder. It is a beautiful rose gold color. I take off one star though because since I do not use gel polish, it takes quite a few layers of top coat to keep it lasting for more than a couple of days. Other than that, it's really great.

Best holo powder out there!
I was hesitant to buy this powder because yes, it is pretty far out of my price range, but I had heard so many good reviews from many nail bloggers so I just had to have it! The package arrived intact and on time which I was very happy with. Looking at the powder inside the little jar, it looks like barely any is in there but don’t worry, just a little dip of the finger tip can cover at least one nail! I have found a variety of polishes to work as a base for this powder but the most successful ones are the Essie polishes in the twisty bottles (they might be gel but the kind with no lamp). And you just lightly rub the powder to a mostly dry base (could be slightly tacky to the touch) which creates a beautiful linear holo coverage! Many topcoats will ruin the shinyness of the holo so I have found that putting a peel-off base coat (such as the one from UNT) on top of the holo powder and THEN put whatever kind of topcoat to seal it all in. Tip: try putting a thick base coat on underneath the base you will use for the powder so your nail is nice and smooth!

Yes, yes
My original product came damaged in route but was sent a replacement quickly. After a few usage, this product is consistently fabulous! I like the sheer look of the powder when not directly in light but when you're out in about in the daytime/sunlight the sheen appearance of the powder does not disappoint. The 5 star is strictly for the product but I think the price is to expensive....I will be looking at alternatives in the future but if they don't compare I will be back.FYI:* I shellac with the powder so I us a uv lamp.* When I ordered the product I did not have any no wipe top coat, so I used my regular top coat and simply used my surface cleanser, which takes away the stickiness.Per another user, I then wiped my nails lightly with an alcohol pad (Isopropyl Alcohol around 91%) this did help adhere the powder. You don't want the nail to be wet when adding the powder.* I then used my regular shellac top coat and I've had no issues with not using a no wipe top coat.Hope this helps.sheensheer

Worth every penny
This was such a good buy especially you get every bang for your book when you pay $30 for one and you get four for $60 it's a very good purchase and the chromes are so gorgeous and each color is different from the next they're just beautiful and what's up does a beautiful job on their powders

Same as a nail salon
Exactly as described. Color matches the little pod and provides the chrome , mirror metallic look just as the nail salon does - (Just be sure your nails are smooth and a have proper polish before applying because it literally mirrors any bumps and imperfections)

Cannot write enough good things!
This powder is incredible. Depending on the angle and light it shifts from pink to blue to green to yellow. I used it to do a mermaid style manicure and I got so many compliments. I think what I like best, and what separates it from similar products out there, is that depending on how hard you buff it in, it can look like a solid sheet or you can get a beautiful textured look like there are bigger glitter pieces in the powder. A little goes a very long way, so I think it's worth the price. I didn't even make a dent in mine and I did all 10 nails with it.

Funziona benissimo
