Solid bit of kit
I use this to cut chromoly for my race car frame , the only thing I did was remove the 90 degree bit of steel and clamp it directly into my vise

It's OK
It does the job, but does have flaws. The clamp frame needs shims placing on the three bolts, if not the cut is not aligned to the centre of the tube being cut. The design of the clamp is such that short pieces of tube can't be cut. By short, less than 150mm of so. I figured out a way using two similar sized wrench sockets placed within the clamp. It's OK for home use, but not something you would use professionally.

A robust product that does the job well
This is a review of the KASTFORCE KF5008 Hole Saw Pipe tube Notcher. It arrives in a thick cardboard box as it is heavy! There are very good instructions with photos to assist. There are no hole saws supplied for fairly obvious reasons. You will however need three spanners - a 14mm, 19mm and 22mm - (see photos) which are not supplied. Assembling it was straightforward but setting it up is the key but once done, its satisfying and worth effort. There is an adaptor nut (this is where the 22mm spanner comes in handy) so you can use two different, threaded hole saws if required. Once it is set, any more of the same profile are quite easy to cut but it’s all down to getting it right the first time as you will be amazed as the end result. Overall a good reasonably priced alternative to our labours in the past that involved a hacksaw and assorted size half round files to get the same result while this did it in a fraction of the time. Overall a very good device once set up.

Very solid machine
This KF5008 Hole saw pipe tube nother doing great job in my garage and it is very easy to use machine of course, if someone has already dealt with similar machines, And I already had a car school and in my former job and this machine will be very useful in my garage where I collect all the necessary products for equipment. It can be used on a drill press or slow speed hand drill, tubing capacity: 2" /50mm, spindle: 1/2", spindle adopter: 1/2"—5/8". Item weight is about over 5kg. Good quality machine for long time of use for sure. I can easily recommend it to anyone.

good bit of kit saves a lot of time
gives a reasonable accurate repeatable cut. can be a bit cack-handed to use at first but price verses function excellent

Very sturdy construction, works well
This is a must have tool if you plan to weld tubular sections and need to notch them. After getting it set up for the first time, it's easy enough to use, either with a pillar drill or handheld electric drill. The angles need to be checked and tightened to make sure there's no movement but once going it will do the job. The construction is super robust - I was surprised how heavy the whole thing was. On the downside there are no holesaws provided but for under £60 this is a very good value tool.

Affordable, well constructed piece of equipment. Just make sure you follow the instructions.
The media could not be loaded. This requires an hour or two to set up and familiarise yourself with it, but follow the instructions supplied.Once you’ve set it up for the first time, it will be much easier to do the second time.Substantial piece of equipment, and good value for money when compared to the cost of the more expensive ones.I am impressed with this, and I do recommend it for anyone doing anything with tubing as it makes life so much easier and it’s affordable to have sitting on the shelf for the odd occasion you need it.
