Very Robust
Purchased to hang my LG 60inch Plasma 60PK550. This unit was very easy to mount and came with enough screws to rebuild the space shuttle. The parts are very solid and strong. The unit mounts VERY close to the wall. The main bracket attaches to the wall with 4 very long sturdy lag bolts. Hardware is inlcuded to mount into a canrete or cinderblock wall as well. There are multiple holes and locations so finding something that fits the location of your wall studs should be simple. You'll of course need a level and stud finder for this. I tested the strength of the bracked by holding on and hanging myself from it and I could do a pull up. I'm about 200lbs so this thing can support plenty of weight. Two rails are included that allow you to mount the TV a set distance from the wall. I found the thinner rail mounted the TV too close and my HDMI and component cables would touch the wall and be bent more than I would be comfortable with. You could easily recess the drywall or purchase angled cables to acount for this. The other rail was perfect. The TV sits out a about 1/2 further off the wall but the component cables have enough room. The TV is still very close to the wall. The two rails attach to the back of your TV via vesa mounts and the included screws or the screws already in the TV. These are big solid screws that mount into the metal support frame of the TV itself. You then hang the TV and tighten the hex screws with the included key to secure the tv. Using the thicker rail my TV is about 1.5 inches from the wall. The other thinner rail is about .5 inches thinner.I was able to hang this wall mount and my tv with only the help of my girlfriend in less than 30 minutes. You'll need your own level, stud finder, drill, and drill bits to get it done. If you're even remotely handy with these tools you sould be watching your wall mounted TV in no time.Check Peerless' website to be 100% sure that the wall mount you're purchasing will suppory your tv. They have a nice wizard on their site that lets you imput your tv model and it will tell you which products they offer that will work.

Great mount
I was able to mount my 42 inch LCD alone in 20 minutes including time to open up the box and remove stand from TV. And yes, I never mounted the TV before.Installation is very straightforward and consists of 3 steps:1. Decide where you gonna hang it and find 2 studs around the center. (It can be off-center mounted to some extend).2. Pre-drill holes and screw the frame with supplied screws.3. Pick of 2 (thin or little bit thicker) vertical bars, screw them to the back of your TV (they included very nice set of screws, so you can easily find matching there) and hang the TV to the frame.4. Optionally you can tighten security bolts on the bars. There is only one trick - hook cables to TV before going to step #3. The rest is straightforward. The final result looks sturdy enough and it can hold me in addition to TV :)One hint about sizing: Don't get to either end when choosing mount for your TV. E.g. it's not the best idea to hang 32 or 60 inch TVs on this one:* If TV is too small you'll see frame sticking from under the TV.* If TV is too big there is a good chance that it will not fit.So, this is great mount for TVs between 37 and 55 inches inclusive (for 58 and up try to get next model which spans 3 studs - seeing how easy it was I'm thinking to mount my main 60 inch plasma too)

A Simple & Effective Low-Profile Mount
This mount is simple and does its job.I can't compare to other mounts since this is my first 40"+ two-stud mount I've owned. However, in general, I think the engineering that goes into TV mounts is slim-to-none, and this just so happens to be the best of them. The good:The metal wall mount and TV brackets feel solid and sturdy. Peerless includes a whole array of bolts, spacers, and washers. They also include two styles of TV brackets, one for an "ultra" low 1.75" inch and another that is something like 2.5" inches. This is the standoff from the wall, so it is nice that they give you the option. Keep in mind you might need some fancy hdmi cable with a 90 degree bend in the connector if you go with a 1.75" inch standoff. Once the mount is attached to the wall, you simply hang the TV on it; it is straight forward. The semi-bad:I have a Samsung LN46A650. Peerless included 16mm, 25mm, and 40mm M8 bolts. I chose to use the spacers on the TV brackets to keep them from scratching the back of my TV. With the spacers, the 25mm bolts were too short to safely secure the brackets to the TV. The 40mm M8 bolts were too long to keep the TV brackets from shifting up and down (they couldn't be tightened completely). That being said, I had to cut the bolts down to 33-35mm and only then did they tighten the brackets to the TV completely. Moreover, the instructions mention that you need two studs 16" apart, but they don't list a maximum distance (or I missed it in the instructions). The reason I cared is that the wall mount is actually long enough that you can attach it to two studs 32" apart. I called technical support and they clarified that it should be a maximum of 24". Lastly, Peerless includes a very long Allen wrench to secure the bottom half of the TV brackets to the wall mount. The problem is that the Allen wrench has a nice long 6" bend for leverage purposes. However, because this is a low-profile mount, you really end up just turning the wrench until that 6" bend hits the wall, and then you have to take the wrench out and meticulously turn the screw. The engineering department should have realized this in testing and supplied an Allen wrench that had a 1 or 2" bend at most. You don't need a lot of leverage; the point isn't to tighten it down, but just to screw it in far enough that you can't pull the bottom of the TV towards you on accident.Summary:Affordable and simple. Some engineering oversights add a little frustration, but I can live with it.

Does not fit Pioneer 60" Kuro
Even though the mount says it will fit most any 60" panel, it will *not* fit a Pioneer PDP-6010 60" Kuro display.

Works, but....
Works ok, but access to bolts used to secure tv to mount are very difficult to access.
