I have tried to make bread for years and had come to the conclusion that I simply lacked whatever talent needed.A friend recommended this flour and I put it off because I couldn’t justify the cost for my bread to come out more useful as a building material than food.With the cost of store bought bread rising I finally decided to try one more time.Boy oh boy am I glad I did. Same recipe same everything but using this flour and the result was night and day. Full of flavor and so soft and delicious.I knew when I finally got my autistic son to try a piece and he came back for seconds, (He doesn’t have a filter and if something is bad he won’t worry about your feelings), I had finally succeeded in making a good bread.Other proof is it came out of the oven an hour ago and is almost gone.With artisan bread costing anywhere from $7.00 to $9.00 per loaf I have no problem with the cost of this flour. It is 100% worth every penny!

I exclusively use this product for sourdough loaves, biscuits, rolls and buns. It renders excellent results in rise, crust and texture. The flavor is excellent, and you will get exemplarily results. Of course, I won't knock the ol' Gold Medal of my parents' age, but the manufacturing process of Bob's Red Mill is superior.

I have been making bread for over 30 years and have used a number of different brands of flour, some better than others for my needs. With this flour I am able to make the bread I have been shooting for. Because my techniques have changed other flours may have worked as well but I am sticking to this one.Flour is light, white and has the right amount of gluten for my needs!

Bakes up delightfully well in more enriched breads - think cinnamon buns and brioche...Fluffy and supple your bread will be delicious with this flour! We use heartier bread flour for crustier loaves so know that this seems to bake up softer than your standard bread flour.

I have used this in place of all purpose flour in White bread, Jewish Seeded Rye bread, Challah bread, and Whole Wheat breads. It is a dream to work with - it kneads smoothly and cleanly - and it bakes into the perfect texture for both lightness and body. I've been baking bread for years, and I've never used a flour that makes such a difference. It used to be difficult to get (only one store in my city carries it, and if they're sold out, it's gone until they get it again). But, now with Amazon, it's so great to be able to get an order in a day or two, if I forget to stop at the health food store!

I bake bread 3x a week, and this is by far the best white flour I have used. It is fine, light, and blends beautifully. Equally excellent for pizza, parker, or to balance a multigrain flour. Moved ip my subscription so i never run out!
