My 86 year old husband can't stand too long, so I bought this tall chair for our bathroom. He pulls it up to the sink for shaving, brushing his teeth and sorting his medication. Very sturdy and well made.

Although the title says that the stools are brown, and somewhere in the description I read the word "espresso" I would call these mahogany. The photos are a VERY GOOD representation of the reddish/brown color. But that's the hard part about buying online.Also, we ordered 2, but only opened one to se what they would look like in the space. The one we opened had some finish issues along the top edge, and the finish was rubbed off from the packaging, at the bottom back side of one of the legs (highly visible.) That said, they are surprisingly sturdy and comfortable.

Downsized house and kitchen. Bought a long, narrow table that was higher than normal to fit mostly just two people. The benches that came with the table weren't what we were looking for but wanted something that was adaptable and relatively inexpensive. These chairs meet all our requirements - more than reasonably comfortable, match the table height perfectly, and were very reasonably priced. Even though they're meant to fold up and store away, they are very stable - no wobble noticed at all. As with any tall chair, there's the tendency to place your feet on the front crossbar, and although I could see kids using them as climbing aids and break them, I do find them fine for the purpose of resting my feet, but I wouldn't stomp on anything like that, regardless of price or quality. Finding them fine for everyday use, and although I've thought about buying another set, I think having company sitting on the lower benches is good for my ego! But I wouldn't have reservations about buying them again.4/12/25: Bought another set to round out the table set and put the old benches to other purposes. The original two have held up great - everything holding together well. I like the fact that we can fold them up flat if needed and placed between the table and wall. They are constantly getting shuffled around and frequently have my jackets draped across the backs, but all are as sturdy as day I purchased the original two.

These chairs are great! Love the space saving aspect of these chairs, they look great abd are sturdy and comfortable!

I had some doubts about how this would work as my family members [men] are big and tall and some of the older friends I have don't feel comfortable on bar stools but this is a great design. Big enough for 6'3" son to sit on it comfortably and padded seat and deep enough for older person to sit comfortably. Sturdy, well made, easy to unfold. Arrived well packaged and super easy to unfold and set up. I like the dark wood look also as matches my existing decor. Doesn't look like an "extra" at all.

This chair is perfect... It is sturdy and looks great at my counter. Will buy a few more...

Loved these chairs! We have a very small dining space and they fit perfectly. They are low profile and don’t overwhelm the room. They don’t tuck in all the way because of the table’s pedestal base but that’s ok they make up for that by being a beautiful red mahogany color and classy lines. I was most impressed with seats; they’re thickly padded and the upholstery material seems sturdy. Time will tell. Overall I’m very pleased with these chairs. So much better than the backless stools we had before.
