I would not recommend this product for any of the years listed-the guard ...
The guard & brackets sent were not for 2012 Xterra. Paperwork detailed 2005-08 & blame was placed on the manufacturer for confusing installation instructions. I would not recommend this product for any of the years listed-the guard will not line up correctly w/ the grill & the brackets cannot be used resulting in a poorly fitting product

just buy a new bumper
brush guards do more damage to the hood when hit. just buy an off road bumper
