Sealed to perfection
Works great with the heat sealer. Easy to use. Nice quality. Seals great. Ordered multiple sizes for multiple size cookies. These were the perfect thickness to seal properly with the machine. They don’t shrink with sealing. The size was great.

This might to helpful to some...
Bought this by mistake to freeze leftovers with my FoodSaver. Was about to return the bags until I discovered it's many applications. I’ve encountered this type of packaging many times before, just never realized it. It may be obvious to many, but by applying heat from a heat gun or hair dryer, the bag shrinks to many times less it's original size to conform to the shape of the item placed in it. It does not rely on a vacuum to work so it really doesn’t matter if air allowed to escape. Any excess can be trimmed off very close to the seam to form a neat package. Found that a heat gun works better than a hair dryer. Will be using it to keep toiletries dry during travel and organizing around the home. AFAIK, these bags are not intended for storage of soft food; so both shrink wrap and vacuum bags have their intended uses and won't replace the other.

Perfect for my small business soap, excellent quality.
Pictures will show you how to troubleshoot the "holes" issue everybody complains about.Great Joy Soaps thanks you, I never wrap my soaps before until I decided to give it a try, NOT TRUE they have holes, NOT TRUE they dont seal, they do seal perfectly. If you puncture a tiny hole to let the air escape then that hole will expand horribly, you gotta cut a corner (little bit) with an scissor, not toothpick holes. Also if you dont snip the corner DONT TAP down the air out of the bag if your surface isn't clean from any debris, as the plastic gets hot it also gets fragile, anything can cut through when you press it against the dirty surface, I learned that when oats felt of my soaps and on the counter and cut through the plastic when applying heat and tapping down the air.To seal you gotta use the hotter settings, mine seals ALL THE WAYExcellent product, first bought the 4x4 and now buying the 6x6Industrial smell? As a whole I cant catch that smell and individually I can't smell anything, matter of fact leave an opening so you can smell your products through the plastic because once sealed you can smell ANYTHING.I dont know if there was a different lot in the past that was mess up, my experience is A+, value for your bucks.

Yellowed
These seem to work fine and smell like the last ones I bought, so I guess they are ok. I’m just curious as to why the whole stack of them look very yellowed, like they are extremely old. My last pack were very clear. Again, they shrunk up fine so I’ll keep them. But…geez.

These are perfect for my soaps
There really were no instructions with it. But I did get the shrinkage to go onto the soaps with a hair dryer. But later I did buy a heat gun and it worked amazing with this product. Nothing

Good brand; few problems with holes or tears as long as you use an impulse sealer & heat gun
So this product asked me to rate "drying power" but I did not, because I have no idea what they mean by that. Do they mean shrinking power? Because they shrink very nicely as long as you use a heat gun (do not try to substitute a hair dryer, it will look like crap). If they actually mean "drying," that's not a thing that shrink wrap does, and if your product needs to dry (like bath bombs), you should be very sure it's finished before you shrink wrap it.Anyway, I love these bags for my bath bombs. Very easy to work with and very rarely have any issues with holes or tears, so I always make sure to order the Metronic brand. I use an impulse sealer to seal the edge and trim off excess, poke a hole with a safety pin to allow air to escape, then shrink them down with a heat gun. They look very professional as long as you use the correct tools!

Great for small parts
Pictured is 6 bullet electrical connectors I had sitting around that I didn't want to become oxidized due to being exposed to the environment and I don't plan to use them anytime soon, but I also don't want to just throw them away. These little bags came to the rescue. Sealed like a cocoon until I need them.
