Is the plant prickly? Can it be low where kids touch it?

Hello, this artificial cactus is available in 36" and 24" , and it has soft spines.

Would it be okay to use outdoors on my balcony?

I just bought two of them and they are out in my backyard totally exposed. Too early to tell how they hold up but they are UV rated and we also sprayed on additional UV spray protection. If yours are to be on a balcony especially if partially covered or not full sun all day is better than what I am trying. good luck

Can I take it out of the pot?

The pot is more less used as the cactus anchor to keep it from falling over. If you have a better way, then do it … it’s your cactus . I kept mine on and just buried it beneath the rocks.

Does the 36 inches include the pot or just the plant is 36 inches?

The 36" measurement includes the pot. The cactus is about 32" tall. We think it's attractive.

Not as tall as we had thought/hoped.

The description is correct, however, it looks taller in the pictures so we thought it was 36 " in addition to the pot it sits in.It is 36" including the base/pot it sits in.

Love it!

As someone who has many live cacti in their home I wasn’t sure what to expect. This has exceeded my expectations & it looks incredible! I added some fairy lights for a soft winter touch but without them on it looks 100% real. Definitely worth the money.
