Actually, I misunderstood the applicability of this item. I thought it was to be applied to a wound or abrasion in the manner of a healing but pain-free balm. I was informed by a visiting nurse that this is not the purpose. It is to be used only on unbroken skin as a protective layer before rather than after an injury. Since that is not what I need it for, I can't evaluate it properly at this time.
