This belt is a game-changer for me. I'm four weeks out of surgery, and like many, I started with the $39 belts, which were much less comfortable. And more importantly, there was less room for the urostomy bag in the less expensive belts. As a result, when it began to get full, it would bulge out as if a squirrel had crawled up under my shirt and made a nest! Long story short, this belt helped me feel more confident and better able to adapt to this new way of life. Thank you, SIIL!

This is an excellent belt for beach and pool. I feel very secure wearing it with my ileostomy. It isn’t pulled away by currents. Wearing it I swim without a shirt and then wear a loose shirt when lounging. A bit pricey but others I’ve tried haven’t functioned as well. Compared to seasonal pool or vacation expenses it’s small potatoes.

Simply better than less expensive ostomy belts. It stays in place due to the use of a superior elastic material and higher quality velcro.

After a few hours of wear it rolls up

Snugged in place and prevents irritation/pulling while walking. Especially if you are fresh out of surgery receiving an ostomy. This should be a standard at hospitals to issue these type of belts for most comfort.Material is soft and easy to apply. Be sure to measure around your belly (stoma site) and not around your waist. I bought a small originally and ended up too tight. Switched to large size and it’s absolutely perfect ❤️

I really didn’t like that the product had the Velcro in the back. For someone with mobility issues it would be hard to align the pieces. I don’t have mobility issues & it was hard for me. Also I have a urostomy so with the zipper in the back it would make it hard to remove when full to empty. For the other types of ostomies it may not be a problemThe only good thing I liked was the fabric it was made of. Very soft material
