LINKYO Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacement for Brother TN450 TN-450 TN420 (Black, High Yield)

Excellent!!! Quality product at a great price. Print quality as good as the original Brother toner, or at least I could not tell the difference. I would not spend around $50 on an authentic Brother toner when this one cost me less than $15 and I am getting the same quality.Installation was pretty easy. It took me less than 5 minutes to remove the old cartridge and install this one. I don't know why some reviewers wrote that it did not lock into place like the Brother one did because I felt it installed snugly into place as it should have, so this should not be a concern.The only issue upon initial install was getting the low toner message. But if you follow the "Read this First" sticker on top of the box, you will see instructions on how to perform a resetting process of the printer. That should take you less than 30 seconds to complete. Restart your computer, and you will be OK, the error message will disappear. Afterwards, I went to the printers home page on my network, and clicked on "view configuration" and it showed my ink level at 100% and the total number of pages printed was shown correctly.We have printed over 500 pages so far and the print quality has not changed. I will buy this item again for sure.

Why'd I buy it ?Purchased this product to use on my Brother HL-2270DW and looking for an alternative to purchasing expensive cartridgesI read through many of the reviews and it seemed that the majority of people had good things to say,I read the bad reviews too, and I ignored them because most of the people seemed like they just didn't know what they were doing.Never headr of LINKYO but i did a lil research and they seemed legit enough for me to try their produce, and i could always return it to amazon if i wasn't satisfied.Packaging:The packaging is exactly as it is shown in the Amazon image, cartridge was secure in the box.Upon removal of the cartridge from it's static free bag, it had the protective yellow guard which is also shown in the Amazon image.Installation:Installation was the same as the standard (expensive) cartridge... swipe the green thing back and forth a few times and it's good to go.It fit perfectly into the printers load piece and then slid right into the printer.The cartridge was recognized immediately and my printer went to work by doing its initial startup process, same as it did with the standard cartridge.Usage:I printed a test page that looked great, so I proceeded to print 250 billing invoices.... each one looked the same as the next.This printer gets used every day, anything that is Black and white goes through this printer and the ink seems to be very consistent and what I expect to see coming from a this printer.Summary:I will be purchasing this product again, probably in the 2 pack if it is available.I would recommend this to anyone that needs a compatible Brother TN450 CartridgeI think that it performs equally to the original manufacturers cartridge

I'm now using the 3rd LINKYO toner cartridge purchased for my Brother HL-2270DW laser printer. The printer is used in my home office and so the actual quantity printed varies depending on my projects. I'd guess that I'm a low to medium user.I give high ratings to both the printer and the LINKYO toner cartridges.The LINKYO product is far cheaper than the OEM product. But for me the quality is excellent. So I'm very happy!For novices like me the install instructions are clear, simple, and brief. Follow them and there's no muss, no fuss.One thing I did notice is that the LINKYO cartridge doesn't fit as snug into the printer as the OEM one. At first that bothered me. However, now that I’m using the 3rd cartridge so far, I can say with complete confidence that the fit hasn't affected performance at all.The 5 star rating is real, based on my personal experience.

I bought this cartridge 4 years ago and used it mostly to print text documents, directions from google maps and the like and for that alone, I was completely satisfied.Two small caveats I have: #1- I am not sure if the yield is as high as stated in advertising. In the four years that I've had this cartridge, I went through about 2 1/2 packs of paper before the toner started fading. #2- the toner smudges on higher grade paper (ie resume paper, cardstock).I give this product 3 1/2 stars (though Amazon doesn't allow for it), as it met my needs and the price was right (also, it did last me nearly four years). However, if I was printing for business or in high quantities, however, I would stick with the OEM.
