The best!
Powder is much better than paste for gluing dentures. I sprinkle it on my dentures, spray with water and bite down and they stay in all day. So much easier to clean up than paste

Use with cream adhesive when you have no or little gum pallet
My dentist is the one who told me to use this in addition to the cream adhesive since the cream adhesive alone did not work on my gums because they were too shallow, so what you do is you first use the fixodent maximum or ultra hold cream adhesive then spray with water and then sprinkle with the powder, and you will have Superior hold that will hold all day long and even into the next day usually ! I tried using the powder by itself but it does not work for me, so I definitely need to use both.

I have been using fixodent for so long I can't say how many years. I don't know if there is another brand because I am completely satisfied with fixodent.

It holds
This glue sticks and holds no matter what you eat. It might be a little to strong. If you need something to hold for a day this is it.
