Great Ties
One of these came with a D’Addario cable I bought and I thought it was awesome, so I bought a whole pack. They’re so simple and minimalistic. They clip on a cable and stay where they’re clipped so it’s always there in the right spot when you wrap the cable up again. Then it’s just a simple one wrap and hook and that’s it. I’m throwing out all my velcro cable ties.I put one on a cable that I thought was too thick and I thought for sure the plastic clip was going to break because I was putting so much force on it to try and get it on, but it didn’t. I kept forcing it until it went and it hurt my fingers, but the clip is fine, so very durable. This was an extra thick speaker cable and most audio cables should be no problem.

They solve a necessary issue very well
They are simple, and there isn't much to them, but they do their job very well and are built with the quality and attention to detail we all expect from D'addario products, these are no exception.

Limited use
I will be returning these. Should have listened to the reviews I read. They either don't clamp onto the the diameter of the guitar and/or mis cables I bought them for or if they do they don't stretch tight enough around. They are made for a specific diameter and length of your cables or you have to wind the cables up tighter than I like to. I'm going back to the velcro ones that adjust to anything.Updating my review, changed to 4 stars.. I would give it 3.5. I gave these another chance on the cables where they did fit the diameter, 1/4". I had to warp the cables tighter than I like too but I'm okay with this and using them. However, I also bought 80PCS Reusable Cable Ties, Black Adjustable 6-Inch Cord Organizer Ties. these are velcro. 80 for around 6 bucks. these work great. I'm sure they will break over time but I'll just replace them as they do. I probably won't be buying the D'Addarios again.

Awesome for most Mic and Instrument cables
For the right length and diameter cables, these are awesome. The are super simple, quick and keep your cables very neat- a great time saver at the end of the gig. I've got maybe a dozen cables with them and have yet to have a single one fail. They don't wear out and get snagged on the linings of bags, cases, car seats, clothes, etc like Velcro does, and they don't get covered with dog hair and everything else that sticks to Velcro. My first experience with them was with Planet Waves Custom Series and Circuit Breaker guitar cables, which include these. Oddly, the American Stage series cables do not. The cable diameter on those is a little smaller, which might be the reason. Whatever, I put one of these on it and it works fine. But that brings up a point- these won't fit every cable you have. Monoprice mic cables are too fat for example. Most of my IEC power cables are also to fat. But most of my mic and instrument cables fit the little plastic grip just fine. The plastic grip is really only suitable for round cables; I've got a few stereo breakout cables and DC power suppy cables that aren't suitable for these. One other note- these work best on 8-10' or so longer cables as the elastic bungee loop needs to stretch a little too hold. Other cables are probably best with Velcro strips that attach or Bongo ties.

Great for 10' to 25' cables! Clean and Professional.
Wrap your cables right: over-under. Don't know how? Learn. These are great for 10' to 25' cables. They work for larger cables too but you'll have to wrap in larger circles to keep the bundle diameter manageable. I use braided cables which are a little thicker than most rubber jacketed cables. These attach snugly, and never come off accidentally. If you wrap your cables in a circle, I highly recommend these. They're clean, professional, and much faster than tie-line.I've been doing this for over 30 years and wrapped thousands of cables. These are quick to fasten and release. If you wrap a particularly thick bundle of cable, it will be harder to unfasten this because the elastic is stretched tighter. If you find that happening, just wrap your cable in a larger diameter circle. I initially bought one set to test. Now I've bought more to handle all of my mic cables.

Okay
These work fine for thin cables, but for some of my more expensive, thicker guitar cables and for things like mic cables or long cables, they are a pain to use. Other ties I have work much better. Like the idea, just need a second version for bigger cables. D'addario is a great company and most things I have from them are perfect for the job. If you only use standard guitar cables, these may be fine for you, but even then, they aren't the easiest to use.
