Hoof Guard seals nail holes and small cracks in the hoof wall. Hoof Guard keeps in natural moisture helping to prevent dry brittle hooves. Added UV protection guards against bleaching and surface cracks. The same Kevlar Aramid Fiber used in bullet proof vests strengthens the hoof and helps to prevent quarter cracks and under slung heels. Application: IMPORTANT - Shake Well to get full benefit of fiber. The hoof should be free of dirt and other contaminants. Apply sealant as needed with large brush avoiding coronary band. Easy one coat application. For brighter and shinier hoofs, wait approximately 1 minute then apply second coat. For external hoof use only. Harmful if swallowed. Keep away from children. Use in well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapors. Avoid eye contact. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes for 20 minutes, wash skin with water and plain soap. DO NOT USE ACIDIC DEGREASERS. Danger: Flammable liquid and vapor. Keep away from heat.

Dries quickly
This dries quickly on the hoof. I can't say that is provides sole protection but it could be helpful for minor chipping

Love this hoof coating
I tried many many hoof products, this one was recommended by a fancy farrier in Wellington, so I bought it as his works always looks amazing with the finishing touch of this product. It does make the hooves look amazing, lasts a while even after riding in sand and adds extra protection against moisture in Florida. Also doesn't stain the floor unlike some others. You can see a little print on the concrete, but when it dries up its gone.
