Q: Does this come in the plastic packaging you have to cut to get open so that I can't return it if I have issues?

It does come in a clamshell packaging that you have to cut to open, however i returned one for a replacement in the opened packaging and there was no issues.

Yes, I have had two xbox 360 controllers paired to it. Other than issues with getting win10 to recognize the device it does work well.

Yeah, I have used this adapter with original Xbox 360 controllers as well as ones sold separately. Guitar Hero controllers as well.
