Hyperflite Jawz Comp....I'm good with it.
Not as good in some ways as the basic JawZ discs. The first two that I purchased, on Amazon were amazing. I have a 90 pound lab and a 50 pound Australian Border Collie/ Heeler. The discs were perfect...heavy enough to throw into the wind, survive a serious tug of war between the two dogs, and it maintained it shape. I lost one of the discs so I replaced it with this Hyperflite Orange Jawz Comp...The disc feels different and does not fly the same. It also is not as durable in comparison to the basic Jawz disc, but way much better than a regular freezbie; It has small punch throughs that the basic model does not.Note: I did not submitted this review when I first started writing it (forgot to push "submit"), so now it is a month later, and let me tell you that the Jawz Comp is excellent....I had to learn how to throw it differently (More down angle on a overhand throw), and I am getting good distance. Still some punch throughs, but after daily, hard use, it has held its shape.....Changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. Hyperflite is the only company that I have had experience with that puts out a practical throwing disc for a large dog.The Picture on the left is the first original Jawz (Great Disc, no Punch throughs), the middle orange disc is the Comp Disc that you are reviews here before you by; After months of daily use, you can see small punch through, but it flies well and keeps its shape ergo its flight dynamics. The Glow in the dark Jawz does not fly as well...I cannot figure it out. In addition, I added a visual of the Hyperflite "hyperflex" not as hard on the dogs mouth, but definitely not as durable. I purchased two more thinking I was buying the Blue one on the left....I was too lazy to return to Amazon. Look at the damage in the thrid picture. the one on the right has never been throw. the one on the left had one week of use and some dug of war. To each own, but I like the Hyperflite Comp and the Basic...if I could ever figure out how to order it again. Hyperflite....Good company. Hyperflite Comp....best dog disc that I have found to date.

Good durability and performance
We have a 5 year old Border Aussie and this has been our go-to frisbee for the last 4 years. As Montana weather allows, we try to get at least one frisbee session in a day and I've found the durability and performance to be great. Our boy isn't much of a chewer, so I'm sure that has helped with the longevity of the frisbee. We have definitely lost more frisbees to the creek, woods and tall grass near our house than we have to punctures or general damage. We've found these frisbees always hold their shape and fly great (when it's not too blustery). I've order at least 2 frisbees a year and am about to checkout with another.

Paws down best disc!!
Only disc that doesn’t get teeth damage that I’ve found. Probably one of the best flying also. The only issues I’ve had is hitting a tree at -10 degrees and letting the dog drop it in our pond and discovering they don’t float. These get daily use and hold up awesome otherwise. Highly recommend.

Durable, but something seems off
I used these for disc league with my border aussie. I've never had a dog that was gentle with discs, so I always buy Jawz or another brand's equivalent. This is my first time to buy x-comps. Nice discs, but a bit smaller than I'm used to. I had a hard time getting consistent throws with them. They're a smaller diameter and lighter weight than my go to discs. They've held up well, and my dogs haven't put any holes in them. However, my 6 month old border collie easily makes burrs in the plastic and I can't use them for rollers because they don't roll straight no matter what I do. Not something I will use for competition in the futue, but they're good for backyard practice.

This type is perfect.
The media could not be loaded. If your dog loves catching a frisbee and has a strong jaw strength with a proclivity for chewing, get this frisbee. My dog loves this frisbee so much and it’s not damaged in the least.

Really the best one so far for me
The Jawz blueberry is tougher. My dog bites holes in every disc below the toughness of the blueberry. Still, if I let her run off with it, she'll tear and chew the edge of even the blueberry. Jaws makes one tougher than even the Blueberry but I forget the name of it. Not a mark on it but just too heavy to fly decent. This X-Comp flies a little better than the blueberry but Lucy bit a hole in it after only about 10 throws. It's pretty tough. No other marks, just a little hole. Blueberry has pretty poor hangtime, so you'd better be throwing against the wind. I prefer the X-Comp over the Blueberry because you can throw it farther and it has decent hang time even throwing with the wind. In order to get the X-Comp out there far, I have to throw it just right. Too high and it doesn't go far and she's waiting under it, too low and it grounds too early and she just scoops it off the grass. Sometimes I'll buy a Sonic. It's slightly smaller in diameter but you can really fling it and it has great hang time. It's a lot cheaper but I'll only get a couple hundred throws and fetches and it's starting to look rough. Depends on what you like and what kind of dog you have. Lucy is maybe a fourth pit bull and wants to chomp that thing a little each time. I won't push her too hard but I think she would keel over before passing up a chance to chase a Frisbee. Robert

Plastic too soft
Our Aussie is not a chewer but just in the process of catching the thing his biting down on it left bite marks that produced sharp edges that ultimately cut his tongue and gums. This one is no better than the cheaper ones we bought at a third the price. The cheap ones wore out just as fast but didn’t leave as sharp chew marks. From now on I’m buying the cheap ones and will throw them away when they wear out. No way this worth the premium price. Now I have to wait for my dogs mouth to heal.

German Shepard approved
Our dog has had this brand for 4 years. Edges finally started to show a little wear, but our dog will not even touch another frisbee.

Durable frisbee for monster chewers
Only plastic frisbee that lasted with my pup. Flies like a normal frisbee so goes the distance. Snaps back into shape. Not indestructible, but has lasted well beyond my expectations and lots of life yet. Don’t let your pups chew it, this is for catching and retrieving only.

Too hard
Great flyer but my border collie prefers her soft fabric frisbee. Maybe once that one is totally destroyed, she will embrace the new one. But I don't see how this frisbee is designed for dogs....I would think it would hurt to catch.
