Q: what size are the inlet and outlet hose size

5/16" inlet and outlet. The return line is 1/4". Wix 33041 is 3/8" inlet and outlet with 1/4" return.

Q: Which direction should the dual outlets go, towards the carb or away? And should the vapor outlet be on installed on top of fuel line outlet?

The two outlets towards the carb. Got the return line sitting at 12 o'clock(straight up) and works great

Q: Will this work for my 1968 Chrysler with a 383? Have horrible vapor lock.

The Wix 33054 is the one with the pressure relief line that you can route back to the tank or have it dump somewhere in the rear away from your exhaust. This is the way to get rid of vapor lock on a vehicle with a mechanical vapor lock. If it's not a mechanical pump vapor issue, a thicker carb spacer 1/4"+ will probably do the trick.
