Muir GlenOrganic Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes No Salt Added, 28 oz (Pack of 12)

Purchased September 2023 on sale. Has best by date of mid 2024. I checked them all over and NONE of my cans were dented. YAY!Love Muir Glen. Pricy, but always good quality. I use a lot of tomato products. I like these big cans, and I really like the flavor. The fire roasted diced tomatoes add a little richer flavor. I like topping a quick pizza with it, or having a simple pasta dish where the tomatoes are the highlight. Good stuff. Will consider again.

I've tried to order Muir Glen tomatoes many times on Amazon, and most times, Amazon cannot manage to deliver the product they sell.Muir Glen is a great brand, and they make great products. But whatever part of the supply chain involves Amazon fails to be able to consistently (or at all) deliver these great products.Amazon, don't offer things you can't manage to deliver. It's an exercise in frustration for your customers.

Amazon tends to pack these poorly so they get damaged in shipping. They’ll refund you or send another box of them, so it’s only a minor hassle. Product itself is great.

It is hard to find no salt fire roasted tomatoes and my husband is on a no salt added diet. I like the product but many of the cans were dented when they arrived.

Like the size and the no salt added. Convenient.

Best canned tomatoes available. I use them for many recipes and sometimes just add onions and eat them as a side.

I really wanted to be happy with this purchase. I love the flavor of Muir Glen Organic fire-roasted tomatoes, and I ordered in bulk so I can always have some on hand for making soups and chili. (The pandemic and resulting supply issues have taught me to have some recipe building blocks on hand.) For health reasons, I intentionally ordered the No Salt Added variety. Sadly, I received the regular variety, even though what I ordered was/still is listed as being available. Fortunately, what I received is only 200 mg per serving, so if I use other sodium reduced ingredients, the final product won’t be too salty. The packaging was also an issue. While I genuinely applaud that no plastic was used for the shipping, and the cans were wrapped in environmentally-friendly paper mesh, there just wasn’t enough padding to prevent significant denting of 5 of the 12 cans. Returning this order would be a pain, and the product is usable, so I’m keeping. But I probably won’t reorder in the future.
