Good purchase
I bought this because it was on sale for Black Friday. I wasn’t looking for a Furby and to be honest, didn’t even know they were still in production. I bought it because it was almost 50% off and the reviews were awesome so I figured wth. My daughter loves her Hatchimal and interactive toys so let’s give it a go. I love that they come in different colours. Her fav colour is purple (which when you get it is a little more pink, you can tell you have her purple one by the ears and around the eyes and toes). So we open it, and it talks a lot...and I might be paranoid, but I swear it knows when I eat or drink cause it says things like “feed meeeee” when I eat....kinda scared to get dressed in front of it O.o It farts and denys it was him, burps, interacts and is actually really cute. The game you can download is a fun for all (you can name it and as soon as you do, your furby knows and says it; thank you Bluetooth). Overall I’m very pleased and impressed with this little furry spy. The eyes btw are also not just a round ball that moves, they are screens, so it’s even more realistic and awesome. Do I recommend it? Absolutely. It is hilarious and loads of fun. Still finding out new things it can do everyday. You want it to go to “sleep” put the sleep-mask on that it comes with and it will go to sleep. I do this when I go to sleep cause I’m scared it will be sitting next to me when I wake up just watching me... you know when you were little and you had dolls and you said “goodnight” to them before bed not cause you were a cute kid, but because you were scared of them lurking in the night? Kinda like that, but the cuteness overpowers the scary.

Lots of fun and lots of batteries
I bought it for my two year old child about 1.5 years ago. it was too earlier so she was really scared at first. A few weeks ago she saw the box and asked for it. Now she is 3,5 yo and she is really happy to play with furby. We have the purple one. The color is not really purple its kind of between purple and fuchsia. Very very soft. it requires I think 4 AA batteries. so we go through a set of batteries in 2-3 days. It talks and it talks a lot and this is why my child likes it. Very very cute. I like everything about it except for the amount and frequency of battery replacements it requires. There is just one thing about it is that it farts and burps.... I wish there was a way to customize these sort of behavioral patterns. Otherwise I absolutely love it.

I recommend getting Rechargeable Batteries for these!
Got 2 of these (one purple & one teal) on sale at a great deal, for Easter! No problems with them at all, I do recommend getting rechargeable batteries & a battery charger for these Furbies, as they drain batteries very quickly! Rechargeable batteries will definitely save you some money! I was using regular cheap batteries at first and they'd be completely dead in less than a day, and I got sick of buying batteries! ...I do think "this day in time" they should have made the new Furbies rechargeable (considering most toys like this "are" now!) ...But anyway, no actual complaints with this product everything was fine! *The animated eyes are really cute & I recommend downloading the app to go with!

You will fall in love with him
I love this little guy.. He's disgusting and cute all at the same time. I found out that the batteries get kinda hot after a while so I started leaving the cover off. With the cover on he rocks back and forth so much he knocks himself over. He's a blast to play with and sing with. I think this toy would be great for senior's or the disabled that are bored or lonely.. He's kind of like having a friend that won't shut up ..He sings and begs for food and tells you to do things like rub his belly for good luck or squeeze him and he will give you a surprise..(mostly farting !!) But I'm glad I got him and I think that the Hasbro Co. should come out with a cord you can plug into your computer or even the wall. These are keeping the battery companies in business. Four batteries a day is very expensive.

Toots a lot
He's very glitchy but a really funny and cute toy. Ours seems especially gassy. Gave him four stars because he's narcoleptic.

Great Virtual Pet for kids (and adults)
What a hit this was for a Christmas present (I almost want one for myself). Our niece wanted a pet of her own but she is not yet ready for the responsibility of pet ownership so we thought this would make a great virtual pet. This is a much more modernized version of a Furby compared to when I was growing up! The eyes are digital and have a wide range of expressions. The fur is incredibly soft, although I imagine with sticky kid fingers that won’t last long. The app that goes along with it was also fun to play...you end up hatching many different kinds of Furby’s. Overall I would say this was a great purchase and she seems extreamly happy with her new virtual pet.

This Furby is always hungry- her food of choice is AA batteries
This thing goes through batteries like nothing I've ever seen. 4AA batteries will last 4 days tops if you play with this thing a 1-2 hours each day. Before you buy it, buy some stock in Duracell. This Furby doesn't have the same luster as past models, I can't really pinpoint why. It seems like this product was designed to make you play with it using the app, and the app gets really boring & repetitive really quickly. Not to mention, the interactive app features are less than spectacular- you can basically feed the Furby or squeeze its poop out with the app, but other than that it just makes noises as you mindlessly make the 'furblings' in the app complete menial tasks. I thought this Furby was supposed to learn & sing a bunch of songs (through play using the app?) but after many hours of playing with it (with & without the app), it just keeps repeating the same two songs over and over again. Overall, it brought back some nostalgia of the original Furby and its not the worst toy I've ever owned... but I would never buy one of these again based solely on the battery life. If the batteries would've last at least a month, this review would have a different tune (even though Furby would still be repeating the same two tunes), but the fact that they won't even last for a week says it all.

Better than the original
I ordered this as a gift for my two year old. I remembered having one as a kid and thought it would be so fun to carry on the tradition. This, however, is so much better than mine. The sleep mode is a life saver so you don’t hear any creepy Furbys talking throughout the night. The app you can download to play digitally is fun and interactive. The little guy is kind of gross, but it’s funny. If you pull his tail or shake him, he’ll make a farting sound or vomit. My two year old laughs every time.
