Fits perfect
It fit perfect and held strong. You need to find just the right spot or it will fall off. But in the right spot it will hold very tight. So tight, that to get it off, you need to first reach around and lift the little lever on the by the wheel side.

My original Eagle XX1 derailleur did not come with one, while my new GX derailleur did. With over 2k miles of not using one and never having an issue, this was kind of an aesthetic buy. They clip on and may make the battery more secure, but in my experience, I’ve never lost a battery before having this.

It's a SRAM cover and it does what it's supposed to, not the cheapest but its nice.

lol. I was surprised when the listing said these were aluminum. They're not-- they're made of black plastic, just like the one that I am replacing.If you think you're getting aluminum, you're going to be disappointed.
