It is a good pillow and ok to sleep on.

Included is a separate package of additional stuffing, should you find yourself in need of it. However, I found the pillows to be quite plump just as they were!As described by the seller, the outer, zippered casing of the pillow features a cool-to-the-touch side while the opposite side is less so. The outer case also acts as a pillow protector. Within the outer case, is a second zippered case making up the actual pillow. The second zipper case allows for adding or subtracting of stuffing so you can adjust and find YOUR perfect pillow comfort.These pillows are really well made! The stitching around the zippers is spot on and well done. The zippers don't snag and slide along nicely. Both the inner and outer cases are are well made and the outer case has a nice design to it that, once the pillow plumps up, resembles quilting.The only "con" for me (but not so much as to effect my five-star rating) is the initial smell. They did emit an unpleasant odor similar to every other new pillow I've tried. Simply letting them air out a few hours before use will fix that in a jiffy.Worth it? Absolutely! After trying other pillows that were suppose to be "hotel quality" AND being very disappointed by each one I tried, I was hesitant to give these a shot. However, I loved the idea that they came with extra filling that allowed me to adjust the plumpness to my liking. What a fantastic feature! As it turns out, my pillows didn't need any adjustment because they are perfect (for me) just as they are!Affordable, comfortable and adjustable! I would definitely purchase again!

Current pillows before this one: To try to get comfortable I have been sleeping with a down pillow under my head and down/feather pillows under each arm and whatever I happen to have in the bed for under my knees or between my knees depending on my position.Sleep position: I start the night on my back and then switch to a side/stomach position for the rest of the night - and switching from one side to the other.Reason for switching: Even laying on my back with all those pillows my arms would fall asleep with my old pillow.If I was laying on my side, my shoulders would get very sore. On my stomach, I was struggling to get comforable too. The loft has been gone from my old down pillows for awhile and it was time to try something new.Experience with this pillow:Cover: Wow the material is COLD. So I wouldn't call it a "cooling" pillow, the material itself is cold, almost like an ice pack. When it's extra cold in the room, I have to flip it over to the bamboo side so I"m not too cold. But for when I want coolnees, there's always part of the pillow that is cool for me to move my face/head onto.Loft/Filling: The first night I tried it as is. I do sleep in ALL positions: back, side and stomach so I didn't expect one pillow to do it all. For the first night it was great for both laying on my back and on my side. But it was too high to comfortably lay on my stomach. Night two and beyond I removed 2 large ziplock bags of foam and it was then perfect in ALL positions.Smell: No I didn't detect an odour or any off gasing and l I'm very sensitive to this smell in general.Out of the bag: I put it straight into the dryer along with 3 softballs that I wrapped inside of mitts/hats and each one inside of a ziplock bag. I put it on low heat for 10 minutes and the pillow were fully expanded and ready to use.Overall impression: I LOVE this pillow more than I could have imagined. It gives me enough loft and support that when I lay on my side, I do not squish/hurt my shoulder at all. On my back I sink in like a down pillow and it's really soft and comfortable. It is the tiniest bit too high on my stomach but if I put my head nearer to the end of the pillow, there's less foam there and it works out.Would I buy it again? 10/10 yes! My son already bought one after I reluctantly let him try mine one night. He loves it too. He has been complaining about not having enough support in his pillows. I will buy another one and take out more of the foam so I have one that's perfect for laying on my back and side (the one I have now) and one that is perfect for when I sleep on my stomach instead of one that's almost perfect.I'm SUPER picky when it comes to pillows and I don't expect one pillow to work for all positions. However if you don't sleep on your back, side AND stomach like I do, I'm confident you can find the right amount of foam to remove/keep to have it work for you too. I've also recommened this pillow to two friends with neck problems.I'll also add that I have not had any issues with my arms/hands/fingers falling asleep when using this pillow in any position. I'm happy with the price too (I paid $42 CAD and I had a $3 off coupon) as I was considering pillow that appear to be very similar but they were over $100 more.

I have been using this pillow for a few months now and find it comfortable. It's definitely handy to be able to remove some of the stuffing so I can decide how high I would like it. If you struggle to find a pillow that's exactly the depth you want, this may be the right item for you.

I spent countless hours searching for pillows based on Amazon reviews. I’ve had these for 2.5 months now. These are great value. Here’s why -- Cooling effect (wake up hot and just flip it over)- Adjustable fill- Shell is soft and feels high quality- Reshape by plumping in morning- 2 layer shell so you can washKnock off one star bc they are a little bit lumpy compared to feather but I prefer the bounce back on these.

I waited awhile before posting this review, I wanted to test it out over time to give a full and honest one.I suffer from night-sweats and it was recommended that I try a cooling gel pillow. I really doubted this pillow would make a difference and I'd be returning them. Boy was I wrong! It's one of the most comfortable pillows I've ever owned, and I've tried all varieties. This works just as advertised: it keeps its shape and only needs a little re-fluffing after using; no weird smells; it's eliminated my night-sweats completely. I did find it a little TOO large (they really are HUGE) but taking some of the stuffing out from the soft side helped. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone who wants to rest without waking up in soaked in sweat. Whether it's from PTSD, night-terrors, menopause -or any other reason for that matter- this pillow does the job.
