A must have in my cupboard
To my mind, these biscuits occupy an essential place in the cupboard. Not too sweet and of a pleasing texture, perfect for tea or coffee time.

Could the packet be slightly smaller than from the shops? Should have read the details.

Opened the bag - not even a box - to find every biscuit in smithereens. Still eaten, obviously. But was disappointing.

The distinct flavour that I remember
Many biscuits are now unavailable in shops, as the desire for covering everything in chocolate seems to have superseded the pleasures of distinct flavours. I searched for those missing varieties (Barmouth, Roral Duke, Royal Duchess, Royal Scot...so many of them) and found Abernethy still available. The unique taste and crispness are still there, but they are a bit floury so the aftertaste is not as pleasant as it might be. Even so it's nice to find a source. If you are unfamiliar with Abernethy biscuits I suggest you try them.

I haven't seen these in the supermarket in ages so I was super happy to find these they are so nice sweet hint of salad and buttery yummy must get more
