Q: Does the black fabric attract lint and other particles where I’ll have to use a lint roller everyday?

I do not have a black one, I have a gray one. But I can tell you it does not attract anything. I'm pretty impressed with it.

It's very loose but that's how it's meant to be. So that's a hard question to answer. It definitely does not run small. My guess is that unless you're super petite or really large, you're won't go wrong getting the next size up or the next size down for that matter.
