These treated great in my seven layer bars. No issue with them liquefying after cooking (which I was warned about)

Used to make special rice crispy cereal treats for my gluten-free/dairy-free daughter and was the only butterscotch diary free option I could find. These worked and tasted great.

4 stars because at least they make a vegan butterscotch one. But these aren't really it.. If you want the flavor and sweetness of butterscotch, you won't find it in vegan form I guess. These are similar in texture when melted but the flavor isn't very strong.

As others have mentioned, these arrived melted. I expected that (it was mid-summer and I live in a desert). But I knew I would be melting these down to use in scotcheroos, which I haven't had in ~15+ years. The flavor was on point, and despite the fact that I wish I could be 1-2 bags instead of needing to purchase 4 at a time, these are the only vegan replacement I've been able to find and they are worth the money.

The chips in only 1 bag were not over 3/4 melted together... I have a friend who has to eat dairy free, and these were a perfect substitute in my cookies! I could tell no difference in taste or texture.

Butterscotch chip bags came in an envelope package and completely melted in a block. If you do order, maybe order in winter only.
