Still hard to use on knee high compression
The concept is great but the execution is difficult. There is a notch in the back that makes it hard because the sock catches on it. It helps but it still takes two of us to get my 83 y/o aunt’s socks on.

Worked as Described
This tool really helped my husband put on his thigh high compression socks. I still had to help pull the heel into place, but it made the job so much easier.

Broken weld point
I purchased one of these on 2-19-23 and it was great. But then in August of 2023 a weld point broke and I order another. The second one lasted about as long. A weld point has broken on it as well. It works fine but I don't want to need to purchase one every 6 months.

It didn't work for me.
I really want to like this, but I couldn't get it to work.First, I had a hard time getting my compression sock onto it. (It's a thick sock, and not as stretchy as other hose.) It was stretching it so hard, I was afraid it would rip. Then, I had a hard time getting my foot into it. With it on the floor, and me in a chair, I had to bend my bad knee and point my foot at ridiculous angles. After a few attempts, I twisted my back more and held onto the heel. I pulled the sock onto my foot with my hands, rather than the donner.I started to pull it up, only to have it catch on my large calf. If it was wider, it might have worked. When I pulled it back far enough to get past my calf, it was pulling the sock too tight on my shin, and stretching it so much I again worried about tears.I think this would be great for helping someone else, with a smaller calf, put on a very stretchy stocking. It didn't work for me.

Amazing tool!
My doctor has recommended support hose, but for a very long time I struggled--and gave up!--in trying to get them on my legs. Sure, after an hour I might get them on, but they'd be wrinkled and stretched, and it never seemed like I could get the heel in the right position. (If you know, you know!)This tool is *amazing*! When I complained to my doctor, he recommend I get something like this. (He does not recommend a specific device and does not endorse any.) There are several types of hose donners. Some are like a reverse shovel where you put your leg on a shovel-like plate with the hose around it and then pull it up--but those don't work for me. My skin doesn't allow it to slide freely over the plate. This hose donner works by stretching out the hose for you to where the heel itself is right near the top, and as you slide (yes, slide!) your foot in, the hose wraps up your leg. Depending upon your type of hose, you might need to completely pull it up the rest of the way or even use a zipper, but it's way less frustrating that manually attempting to get support hose in place.I find that I can put this on by just sitting on a bench and then pushing my foot through the donner. I need only take a few tucks to get everything perfectly set up, but 99% of the work is done. Some people might need to sit on the floor and put this against a wall to push their foot through, but even so, it works. This is money well spent for me.

Super Easy to use!
My lower legs were being ruined by fluid retention. My Nurse Practitioner was discussing compression hose and showed me the ones he was wearing. I complained that I had tried compression hose, but the daily fight to put them on was just too much for me. Then he told me about this device and I am so very glad he did. This device makes putting on compression hose so easy, it is actually enjoyable. I highly recommend this to anyone. And it works for large sized feet as well. I wear a size 15 shoe and it works easily for me.

Almost too narrow
These helped a lot to get conp. sock over my fat feet and legs but were hard to get them on as they are almost too narrow. Very sturdy tho.
