Worth every penny but it's not a solid 5 star
Function and finish are perfect. The unit was packed well and parts were secured during transit. I was hesitant to use for a couple days while the refrigerant settled and compressor stabilized during transport because it gave me time to read the "Refrigerant could explode" claims too many times. With room temp water, and I strongly suggest using a filter like zero water, it takes about 8 min for your first batch of 8 cylindrical ice nuggets to be made. Even on large ice you'll need a few cycles for that first drink.Nuggets are frozen, but barely. Noise level is very low during the freezing cycles but it's very loud when it drops them into a tray to be mechanically shoveled into the smallish bin. My dog hates the noise it makes during the collection cycle. You'll get 3-4 full ice bins to every water fill. Ice melts back into water reservoir to be recycled. It stops when it's full, IR sensor beam broken, and starts up again when the IR sensor path is unbroken again (ex. Ice melts). I let it run continuously and it will always have a full bin and the ice making process gets down to 4-5 min. A full bin is suitable for 4-5 8oz glasses of ice.Worth every penny but it's not a solid 5 star.

Easy to use and effectient
Like- easy to use just dump water and wait. Cubes come out in around 15 mins 30 mins for a whole basket. The cubes have good form and are completely frozen.Dislike- you've never felt fear in your heart so severe as when a load of ice drops in the bucket at 3 am! It's not toddler with a pan noisy, but its about as loud as trying to get the keys in the door at 3 am when you missed curfew.Overall- this product is what I expected and works well. I think it's a good alternative to the more expensive models.

Do not buy this Item....Worthless
Ice machine wouldn't make 26Lbs of Ice in 26 days much less a day, the ice is so small that a total filled ice mach will only fill one smal glass, and when you pour your drink in it melts so fast it won't cool your drink, and guess what don't even try to send this back, you are stock with it, and it is worthless, I tried to send it back, and they won't let You, I called and they said I would have to talk with the maker, well I don't know who made it, because Amazon doesn't know who made it, they sent me a phone number and web site and the People on the other end said they had never made an Ice machine much less one like this, and there is no way to reach who ever made it, so you are stuck with a junk Ice machine and can't do anything about it...I have purchased a lot of items from Amazon, and spent a lot of money with them, but this is my last to ever purchase from them, I am done.....Now I have to buy a Ice machine that will work....This one sure won't, and there is no way to send it back...but thank God there is Ebay...so buy if you want, but it will be Your loss.....Ottis E. Just what I wanted!
"Ice in your drinks is the sign of civilization"We live in an 13 foot long 1972 Caveman travel trailer. Fully equipped, my BF and I custom restored it. It has solar and tankless waterheater. We did not have ice. We needed it to cool our drinks and keep our food fresh. It became a costly hassle. I was looking at Amazon for Prime Day and this little baby popped up. I dont know what everyone wants but I got just what I wanted and needed. Its quiet, fast, ice cubes are cute. At last a real taste of home. Buy this without hesitation. The price is lowest I've seen, well worth having. You can see by my pics it's not to big for my RV and big enough to do the job. Have fun! Luxury is VivoHOME

Not exactly what I expected
I'm a bit underwhelmed by this ice machine. It takes it almost 2 hours before it actually start making ice worth using. The first cubes are itty bitty. It does make them fairly quickly, after that. The cubes are very wet and "melty," so putting them in a plastic bag in the freezer just results in a solid block of ice that you have to bang on the counter to break up. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I'm not in love with it, especially given the price.

Perfect for smoothies, milkshakes, mixed drinks or regular beverages
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The box it comes in does let you know what it is. So if you want it to be a discreet gift, send to yourself and wrap it.I have an older fridge without an ice maker box, difficult to find one, but I do have a water line. This is the perfect alternative and I’d rather give up counter space than previous freezer space. Can select larger ice cubes or smaller ones. I tend to use the smaller ones because it’s easier to blend for a smoothies. Takes about 7 minutes for each batch of ice cubes. Maybe about 7-10 cubes a batch.Still in the honeymoon period though. I’ll update again as I break it in.

No room for ice in my fridge.
I purchased because the refrigerator in my house is pretty small and I like to grocery shop. I rarely have enough space for ice trays and my fridge doesn't have an ice-maker. I keep it running on the weekends since that's when we need ice the most. It makes ice quickly and isn't very loud. I'm pleased with it.

Great purchase
I would give this a 5-star rating except for the fact that it's a little noisy. I have had this ice maker for 2-1/2 years now running 24/7. It’s only been turned off for a month while I was out of the country. This appliance has not let me down ever. I use distilled water in it to prevent build up of minerals and such.
