I used this spool of Mono to construct a deer fence around my garden, and it's perfect for that use! First season down, and going strong with enough leftover for maybe 4 more gardens! Great buy, highly recommend. As for fishing, can't say. :)

Ande make a good product. It's not the Monster line but I bought it because the Ande product line is highly regarded as quality stuff. I've not had a chance to fish with this line yet. I will ammend this review if I have any problems. Spooled up nice in my Shimano and Penn baitcasterreels...

I'm old school, so I love the Ande Premium line. It was all Ande and Maxima back in the days, but Ande was always much better priced.

I bought this to fish for Atlantic bluefish off the coast of NJ. The line held up admirably to a 34-inch bluefish pulling like a fright train! (it was strong enough to straighten out a large snap swivel, and bit 2/3 through a 60lb test monofilament leader!) I landed my blue :D. Very castable, this line tied well when I needed it to, and wasn't too stiff. I found it supple, even when first put onto my reel. No reel memory to speak of. I had no tangle problems even with long casts, and a few backlashes from bad casting with heavy lures.

Ande is always great fishing line for the price. This line was purchased for deer fence for my garden and is working very well.

I fish lake Champlain with downriggers we now have spiney water fleas which stick to my 14lb test line put this line on with a 10 lb leader line an works well thanks.

Used for tuna caught a 75 pounder
