Q: Does this ink withstand being sprayed with ethanol hand sanitizer?

Not sure it may dry out the ink but the body of the pen itself would hold up fine

Q: How the heck do you get it open to refill it? I’ve tried unscrewing the tip, above the knurled section, the end cap. Nothing comes off.

The tip can get pretty tight. I put a piece of rubber (ranger band in my case) around the tip and used a pair of pliers to loosen. The rubber gives you grip and keeps the pliers from scratching the tip. I know it sounds bad that you have to do this but I’d rather it be too tight than too loose. Hope this helps.
