Fits elongated toilet perfectly, but the thing is heavy as a boulder. Might need to be able to bench press 350 just to open the toilet lid.

The toilet seat itself is great and seems to be good quality. However, I have been to the plumbing store twice already and now have to plan another trip. I replaced the cheap plastic screws (stripped out already) with Metal screws and bolts, along with some washers for the toilet seat hinge, and it still slides to the left when I sit on the seat and I'm tiny. I have never been more frustrated by something so simple. This product should include rubber seals at the seat hinge to help prevent seat slippage. I do not recommend this toilet seat. Also, the lid slams down with the seat when closing.

My bad for not reading the description more closely, but there was a video in the listing, right with the photos, showing a slow closing toilet seat so I thought that's what this was. I thought it was plastic, but it's the heavy kind that slams shut. Lol. I previously replaced the seat in my guest bathroom and the plastic nut(?) that screws onto the posts that holds the seat on are shaped so that they fit up into the hole and keep the seat from wiggling. This is the same brand so I thought this would be the same way, but sadly this one doesn't have the same feature. The nuts actually seem to be intentionally shaped so that there's no way to fit up in the hole, so the seat does wiggle. I feel like I may end up replacing this one sooner than later when I get annoyed at the wiggling seat. Sigh. It does do the job for the time being, and the seat itself seems to be good quality. But why not make the nuts fit inside the post holes on ALL models?
