Charming and Heartwarming
World's End Club is a charming and wholesome adventure, albeit a little clunky. The story is fun and engaging, with an interesting group of characters who remind of the Goonies. The super stylistic art style is what initially drew me to this, and I'm glad I took a chance on this one despite the clunky and slow controls. The physical edition isn't anything too special, it came with a booklet and digital music voucher, but I prefer my games physical. The cover art is vibrant with Vanilla gracing the cover, and it looks great displayed on my shelf. I hope the studio behind this charming adventure is able to make more games in the future!

Something new
As most people know, this was made by the guy who wrote the Nonary game series and the guy who made the Danganronpa series. I can definitely tell feom the writing. It's a fun little mystery game with some platforming elements. If you want it hoping it's exactly like Danganronpa or the Nonary games, I recommend you drop that idea. This is its own thing even if you see certain habits from both writers. You'll enjoy it more once you look at it without that expectation. Supposedly, this is also the last time either guy will be writing a "death game" and it's a good way to end things, in my opinion, on a more lighthearted note. I can't wait to see what else they come up with.

An Interesting Sci-Fi Visual Novel with Annoying 2D Platforming
Okay. Like everyone else, I was excitedly expecting a Danganropa clone. But that is not this game. Now pushing aside expectations, this game is a visual novel that breaks into a 2D platforming segments.Quick synopsis: The Go-getters Club is on a class field trip to Kamakuru when a meteor suddenly crashes into Tokyo, letting out a seismic shockwave. The shockwave hits their bus and then everything goes dark. When the group wakes up, they find themselves in an Underwater Theme Park. How did they get there? As they struggle to return to the surface, the world that they once knew is no longer there. It is now filled with monsters and no people. (I won’t go more in depth. Any more would ruin the plot twists.)The game is broken up into 3 formats: Story, Camp and Act. Story is what it means. Camp is when the group is on break and you can interact with each character. And I mean interact loosely. You learn just a bit about their background that adds a bit to the plot. And Act is the platforming portion. The platforming was annoying as heck. I cursed profusely after dying 5 times in the same spot. The controls are not intuitive and clunky. I usually end up hitting the wrong button in my haste. Or not understanding the task and getting killed right off the bat. Or overestimating a distance. For example, climbing onto a platform. You pushed B to jump. Then you just hang there. The natural inclination would be to hit B again to climb up. Nope. You have to move the joystick up to go up. And I mean UP. You can’t angle it too much or it won’t register. I don’t understand why they can’t make climbing into one fluid motion. Since there is no saving, the game luckily saves right before the platforming segments. So, when you die, you don’t have far to catch up. The first time you play, you will automatically end up in a “dead” end. So, there were a couple divergent story lines that you would be forced to replay in order to unlock the true ending. There are collectibles stickers to collect. You do unlock a gallery (Art, Music and Movies) upon getting your first ending.I completed the game in 15 hours. By the midway point, the story got GOOD. Every character had their own little development arc and you became invested in them. The ending cleaned up well. The character designs are charming and colorful. Everyone (excluding the main protagonist) is fully voiced. There was no grammar/spelling mistakes. I did find the theme song catchy after hearing 3 times. The only thing I hated was the platforming. And my game did crash once when I ended up the map screen. Other than that, no other issues. Is there replayability? Not really. Once you know the story, it loses its shock value. I cannot comment really on the extras. It comes with a mini artbook and a digital soundtrack. The soundtrack is worth it. The artbook is meh. I think the in-game art gallery is better. Is it worth getting? If you like visual novels and sci-fi, this might be to your liking. However, the platforming can be a drag. Just think of it as a necessary evil. If you are looking for a platformer, this is not it. This is not for everyone. I don’t regret playing but I could’ve waited on purchasing.

Love the game. Slight false advertising.
I loved playing the game, but it’s not as elaborate as they make it out to be. It’s not really “Deluxe Edition” because it is literally the most basic thing you can buy to get the game. I also pre-ordered the game yet it arrived two weeks later than expected. I would highly recommend the game to someone looking for something more lighthearted while still having mysteries and twists. But the Deluxe edition if you just want the game, buy the other edition if you want the Go-Getters club badge and acrylic stand (for people that are bigger fans of the game)

Go getters to the end!
I enjoyed this game way more then i expected to. It may not be the death game we would have wanted from them cause it's not a death game, but this game is so much of a rollercoaster ride for the emotions that it deserves at the least a try. And despite the game play be really simple it can still display a bit of a challenge. I have the theme song stuck in my head and I'm glad I decided to give this game a chance.

A Great Game that pulls you in.
Love this game, I have been playing for three days straight and have had a blast. The characters and story are both way better than I expected and I love the whole Choose Your Own Adventure vibe they got going on when the story splits and you have to choose which way to go.The controls could be together and I would of loved if mounting and climbing ladders was automatic but it’s easy to forgive the flaws due to a very good checkpoint system and unlimited lives.

Visual novel with platformer elements
If you like visual novels and a little bit of platforming, you may like this. It's mostly story, has adolescent humor, because it's about kids. It was never supposed to be Danganronpa, if you watch interviews, the studio even says that. I laughed myself silly at how many times I died on the platformers sections because they don't just hand you an easy win. You have to get your timing down like older retro games. It's cute, has some twists, and I really like the original Japanese voice actors.

Muy buen juego.
Me encantó la historia, la jugabilidad no es muy novedosa. Para los que nos gustan los juegos físicos y el plus del soundtrack aunque sea digital.

Not Very Deluxe
It's a nice game but be aware that this is the port of a mobile game. I also want to comment that there's nothing really deluxe about this deluxe edition. I don't see a standard edition anywhere so this is what I needed to get by default but it's literally just a small book inside and a digital soundtrack. So the deluxe part is kind of disappointing, maybe they'll list the standard edition eventually (if there is one) and you can save a few extra dollars. And for those complaining about the day one patch this is actually industry standard these days. I used to work in games. Once to product goes gold it is sent to be printed to disc/cartridge/whatever the game is being released on, but the devs still have a decent amount of time before the game actually physically releases and reaches the end user so they continue to work on it and improve the quality of the game and fix end of development issues. It's not ideal but that's just the way the industry has evolved.
