Good product with very impressive delivery!
Good product. Delivered very quickly, way ahead of its ETA - seller did a very good job. The way the seller loved their pet is heart-warming.

Fake but works
This is not a philips product. Duplicate, copy, counterfeit product.HOWEVER... it’s brighter than original and it’s still working. I kept it as I couldn’t find these locally and had RTA inspection

Not the same
I had always trusted the item would be as described when the seller was Amazon. Not the case here. It appears everyone now plays the same game.

Fake
The package in the photo and the once i received are not the same, i mean in the photo you see a rounded box of philips bulbs with genuine hologram on it but the one i received does not have a hologram and its in a square box.

60% brighter compared to generic bulbs
I was using a generic no brand H7 bulb in a reflector headlight (Skoda Octavia TDI 2005) and I was barely able to see. I proceeded to alight the headlights witch improved visibility by 200% (it was really bad and light was pointing down too much) but was still not happy with output. Thus I searched for Halogen lights with bigger output. since this claimed to give +130% ( over double output) I purchased them. For the record, they do not provide +130% OVER normal bulbs. in fact the don't even provide +80% and here is how they come to this number. +130% is over standard bulbs since standard bulbs are 45W @ 12v (3.25amp) then a 55W @ 13.8 bulb is 120% (or 20% over standard) the other 10% is based on light output being closer to daylighting white and using a hotter filament. theses numbers are not derived from Lumen or lux that being said they do offer more lux compared to standard at the cost of lifespan.if I was the me from 3 weeks ago I would opt for the standard German made bulbs since they would give me 90% of the light at 1/3 of the price and would last 2x more.

Saved me from a fix-it ticket.
They give off a wonderfully crisp light, markedly better than stock halogens. Unfortunately, they don't last very long. I had to replace them three times in two years. I've since installed aftermarket HID lamps, which are both brighter and longer lasting. After 11 years with the HIDs, one side seems to be a bit flaky on cold rainy days, so I got a new set of the Philips bulbs as a just-in-case. On one occasion, when stopped for driving with one headlight out, I was able to point to the new Philips bulbs and say "I'm just on the way back from the parts store to fix them, officer!"

Lasted 2 years
I bought these more expensive lights thinking because they cost more they are better and will last longer, well they were an improvement over my old lights but certainly not as amazing as they seem.Don't get me wrong they have lasted me literally 2 years and 12 days, in that time they always performed well and were bright enough, for some reason as of late they have seemed a bit dimmer up until one of them just died.Overall, they are decent, much brighter than my old bulbs, although i wish they would have lasted me longer, still got a good couple of years out of them.

Should Show Better Ratings
How dumb can a review get? To ask you to rate the Longevity of a Headlamp Bulb within a month of purchasing it ?!!Stupidity and a dis-service to the bulb's manufacturer's; in this instance, Philips, because no-one can rate more than 3 stars due to lack of evidence. How can you rate it a 5 Star's Longevity after only 3 weeks ?? - bringing down the overall rating. So the rating agency is deliberately bringing a poor rating to this product; but why. Do they do it to other brands as well ?However in this case, this is the third set of these Lamps I have purchased, the first over a year ago, the second, about a year ago; both for friends; and this third pair, for me.The two previous pairs are still good and I am impressed with the brightness of mine, as were my friends with their's.So in this case, I can and do give 5 stars in all three categories. On colour, which I have seen mentioned in other reviews, it is a good and useful "White toward Yellow" rather than "White toward Blue" which doesn't reflect back to you off the road surface as well as white (4000k) or white/yellow does. Probably the ideal would be 3800 or 3900k.Check it out on a wet, black looking road & you'll see it right away.Blue/Bluish lights are for nerds & teeny-bopper dreamers who think it makes their ride look more expensive or valuable. One more point of interest; tinted windshields. For years I wondered why my lights were never as good as they were in my Mk1 Cortina; until I put my head out the driver's window once to check on something. Immediately I got the revelation; 30 or more percent of it being absorbed and lost in my silly tinted windscreen. The next one will be a real one. And, no, although "Bluish" light passes better through tinted windscreens, it's still 'thin' and less visible than 'yellowish' light through clear glass. All that said, my ultimate upgrade was 4000k HIDs, but I couldn't get a WOF because that upgrade was illegal :o(These X-treme Vision +130s are the next best thing that I've found (30% more light than standard 100%).

Great at lighting the way
I installed these Philips lamps in mid 2018 and here in 2022 (and 30,000 miles later) they’re still working. The brightness compared with the factory original lamps was impressive, and marginally whiter too. However, this does gradually worsen over time as the lamp burns. Still, they’re road legal and do the job just fine.I have an Audi A3 2.0 TDI which means the space under the bonnet is limited - making fitting a little tricky. However, this isn’t Philips specific and will be the case for any other brand. Just be sure to look out for the pins and prongs on the base of the lamp - if the thing isn’t fitting properly, just check to ensure you’ve not bent any out of shape preventing them fitting properly! That got me for a good hour before I compared both lamps to realise the one I had tried to fit (and failed) has a slight bend. A small bit of finger pressure and we were good to go.
