With a freezer-style bottle attached to the lid, I just fill it up with water, put it in the freezer overnight and all day long it keeps my worms fresh and cool. The bedding that comes with it is easy to use and easy to dig through to find the nightcrawlers. It will hold quite a lot of worms, I put about 200 in it without over crowding and it satisfied my excursion with friends on my pontoon boat for the whole day, It was about 92 that day and at the end of the day, the freezer pack was mostly water, the worm bedding felt cool and the worms that were left were still frisky.

I was looking for a crawler box for my grandkids who usually just take the plastic container the worms came in from the bait shop. After a few hours the worms were pretty limp and lifeless. If I were a fish I would have absolutely no interest in one. There are several bait boxes out there but this one jumped out at me because it looks just like the one my dad used in the 70’s and it was great. The worms can actually breath in there and it has a little ice block you can attach to the lid to keep them cool and happy. More importantly, nice and wiggly. It’s just the right size to carry with, too. Not too big, not too small.

This box works wonderfully for keeping your worms alive and wiggling which is a lot to be said. I have kept them in the refrigerator in the box for weeks and are just fine

this box comes with everything you need to farm your worms. Nicely insulated and interior fill already with worm food infused. The interior temperature is consistent and the worms seem to flourish in the environment.

Well insulated, nice size. Lid a bit sketchy but ok. good value for the money.
