Everlast Dual Station Heavy Bag Stand Value Bundle

Love it! I assembled the stand by myself but needed help lifting the heavy bag on the hook. The gloves that come with the set are terrible...fortunately I had my own gloves. You'll need a ball pump to inflate the speed bag. I found one for less than $6. I also purchased a heavy bag anchor but I don't need it.Lastly, I live in a duplex and the stand doesn't take up much space in my spare bedroom. I haven't had any complaints from my neighbors either.

I purchased this several months ago. I received all the packages on different days, but well within the designated delivery dates. I was excited to finally get a heavy bag at the house instead of going to the gym. However, this one is good, but not great.The assembly was easy. The instructions were easy to follow and it was straightforward. I was able to assembly everything without help. However, I am a bigger guy, and I would recommend getting help with hanging the heavy bag.The gloves are really useless. They are just cheap gloves. So, eh take them or leave them. The wraps are good. I bought an extra 3 pack so my kids could have their own. The speed bag is good, but the hanger is not great. If you use the speed bag for very long, you will end up breaking the plastic piece around the hook. I ended up purchasing the  Everlast Professional Speedbag Swivel . It is just better. The heavy bag is good, but does need the additional anchor  Everlast DE01 Double End Heavy Bag Anchor . Once I hooked this up, it was better.Now my issues with the overall setup. I purchased used weights to keep it from sliding. It didn't work for me. I placed roughly 90lbs per peg, and it was still sliding. Now, I do have it in the garage which is a smooth floor. So, a little sliding was expected. However, the stand was walking all over the garage during a workout. This was extremely frustrating to me. Moving it back was a pain. I ended up purchasing an exercise mat to place under it. This one was the perfect size  Gxmmat Large Exercise Mat 6'x6'x7mm for Partner Cadio Workout and Gym Equipment, Extra Thick Gymnastics Mats Non-Slip Anti-Tear for Home Gym Flooring - Plyo,HIT, Jump,Fitness Mat .The other issue I have is the middle are where everything comes together on the stand seems to "bounce" during a workout. There is nothing to stabilize it. The outside legs have plastic protectors at the ends that raise them off the ground. However, the center piece just floats up off the floor. So when working out, it makes noise. This is only an issue because I like to work out early mornings while everyone is asleep. If they would fix that, I would give them an extra star.So, overall it is decent. However, the low price should not foul you. If you want a good setup that is similar to a gym, you are going to need to budget out a much bigger amount. The mat, anchor, and swivel added up very quickly.

This is what I sent the seller without a response. I have had this equipment for less than a year. I will write a really negative review if situation not delt with. I box only on fridays and not all of them. So not many times since I bought this. First some of the metal was damaged on arrival. Second the hook for the bag was not an eye hook but a J. Stupid. Third, after only three months, about 12 times the speed bag board busted where bults are. Fourth, the strap on the bags ripped after 9 months, about 33 times of use or less. Not here all fridays. Overall, i don’t know if defective equipment but this has been a pain in my ass and have missed quality workouts. Not happy about this product or situation. Want a refund or new equipment. I have pictures and will send.This is a bad product and don’t buy unless your ready to deal with some issues, time, money, frustration without being able t punch it out and a company that does not try to fix the situation

This thing has been a mess. It was relatively easy to set up and was very enjoyable for the first week. Into the second week of using it, the cheap wooden speed bag platform fell apart. It was totally unusable. I was able to fix it with some large washers and by replacing the bolts, but it’s just a matter of time before it breaks again. The speed bag was super fun to use and was my favorite part of the set, however within the first month the loop began to tear. I used some duct tape to fix it and it has held together since. I was prompted to write this review today because the speed bag loop tore in a completely different area and fell apart. Immediately after it happened I switched my workout to the heavy bag at which point the bolt came loose and the heavy bag completely fell off. I put thing together correctly and it seemed pretty sturdy. When it’s functional, it’s great but I’d expect more from a company that has been doing this for so long. I’m only a novice and can’t imagine I’ve done enough damage to have caused all of these issues. Get your life together Everlast!

love it.speed bag is grey (what was shipped), not black as expected (in photos on Amazon.)Don't like the color mismatch, but whatever (that's me).The speed bag really needs to be properly inflated, or it will deflate overnight.*I was using a can of air (as I did not have a pump) and it'd be flat the next day.-- I purchased a proper pump and it holds firmly now for days (if not a week).Bought a proper pair of gloves, the ones included are really not useful, (more like mittens) with a metal pipe in the grip.The white wrap that it came with "works" but it small. I don't think I have abnormally large hands.A friend gave me another pair that is a foot longer and it makes all the difference.The stand seems firm, although I had to re-tighten the bolts after a few days use.Hopefully I won't need to do that anymore.I have 3 x 50lb weights on it... and (while I am a total newb and don't think I hit "hard") it does move still quiet a bit, so don't leave it to close to the wall or you'll put good gash in it.overall, it's a great workout.*It was shipped from WalMart. I personally would have ordered it elsewhere had I known (shows coming from Everlast), as WalMart does not treat its employees well or care about its customers... so I just avoid it if at all possible.
