ELEMISUltra Smart Pro-Collagen Eye Treatment Duo

I like the concept of a set of eye creams for day and night. I do need different things for those times. The day cream pulls the skin tighter as it dries. The night cream is thicker and doesn’t try to firm. Unfortunately, the day cream pills with makeup, making it difficult to work with. It also holds the skin so tightly that sometimes it sort of glues folds together under my eyes. I have to be careful to change/flex my expression as it dries so that it doesn’t do that. I’ve had some success with putting other eyes creams over the day cream to prevent pilling, but that also minimizes the firming effect. The applicator tool is really nice. The metal feels cool and I like that the end is a roller ball, making application easier and more effective. Ridiculous price aside (I have to assume it will go on sale), this is a good eye cream set. I haven’t noticed a reduction in my dark circles after almost 2 weeks, but it moisturizes well, doesn’t clog my pores, and does have a firming effect.

All I can say is this stuff actually works! As a mid-30s male, I've more or less neglected how my face looked -- wrinkles and crow's feet were all welcome. In particular, my eyes squint a lot and I've developed very noticeable wrinkles around my eyes. Upon testing this product for a few weeks, I ended up deciding to incorporate this my daily and nightly routine. In all honesty, I used this in conjunction with the day and night time moisturizes from Elemis, and of the three products I think the pro-collagen eye treatment duo is the most "worth it" of all of them.I'm now about a month into using the product, and I've seen a real reduction in how noticeable the crow's feet and lines are around my eyes. Before this, I just accepted them as a nature part of the aging process. Cheaper, alternative eye creams never really worked, but Elemis has helped. The little metal eye roller that comes with it is nice as well. Be CAREFUL, however, as if you apply to thick of a layer of the DAY TIME eye serum, you will definitely end up with a bit of flaking throughout the day as it dries. So make sure to only use a LITTLE BIT.My biggest complaint, as with other products in this line, is simply the cost. This will last you awhile, but as with Elemis in general I think you're spending a lot of extra $ on marketing, packaging, and brand name. Of the three major products of theirs I tested, however, I saw the most noticeable effects from the eye serums! It won't leave your face smelling as good as their moisturizers, but is more worth it for the visible effect they have.

I am always curious about why and how super expensive skin products are better than moderately priced ones, and I guess I'll never fully understand. This is a luxurious looking set of two eye creams. They come with a tool to apply the products and massage around your eyes. While I think both of these creams are reasonably effective, I don't love either of them. The day one is super sticky, and if you apply too much, you will feel your lids sticking to your eye sockets. The night one stings. A couple of times I accidently got a little into my eyes, and they stung and watered, which never happened with any other eye products I use.

I am a novice when it comes to most beauty products or having a great routine, but I have definitely been working to improve the quality of products I use and the time I put into my skincare.I know how important collagen is and I take it as a supplement, but recently thought it would be a value-add to apply directly to my skin as well. I am still young and have not seen many signs of aging, but realize I have to work at it to keep it that way. At the time I started using this, I was already using the serum in the morning and the night genius at night but both are supposed to be avoided for the eyes. As such, this was the missing piece. These were easy to use but I have to admit I wish it was just a once a day thing... my new routine is quickly getting too many products.I would recommend it for someone who experiences the fine lines or has more aging signs around their eyes.

You get two very nicely packed eye creams, one for day and one for evening. You also get a little adorable eye roller that feels amazing on the skin. The day cream is more gel-like, really gently seeping g into the skin. It does not leave a tacky feel at all, very nice! The evening cream, very moisturizing, is a bit more slick. It is very hydrating but leaves the skin feeling a little more greasy. It takes just a small amount per use so it should last awhile. I've just started using so I can't speak of dramatic changes but I really like the feel and hydration of the creams as well as the eye roller. Containing collagen is a bonus ingredient for me.
