As a piano instructor, students quickly learn that I am a GW fan from way, way back. I've taken many youngsters to his concerts over the years here in SoCal, always a joy. For the young hopeful, however, the original piano scores are steep, and often discouraging to those who have not reached the needed level of proficiency and confidence to master the George Winston classics.Then along comes this collection of easier arrangements, which are perfect! Not "dumbed-down" at all, but creatively put together so that a Level 3 student can, with a bit of determination and drive, master these and enjoy. Furthermore, I've found that general audiences don't perceive them as being simplified at all, which of course is a treat to those who are playing.Fun, friendly, and still noticeably GW. Grateful for this anthology, it will stand the test of time, truly!
