Great for mid golf round boost
This is a 12 pack of 70g gel sachets. They are very handy to take with you to sporting events as they easily fit in a pocket, bag, or golf bag. They also have a long shelf life so you can throw them in and forget about them until you need them, which is great. and because you just rip the top off and squeeze the gel out there's virtually no mess (just make sure you finish the whole sachet)I used to take small chocolate bars but the sugar and fat content long term is not a good idea so i decided to pick these up. They're easy to use just rip the top off and squeeze out the gel. It is quite tasty, not too sweet or artificial tasting. But it does have almost a fatty aftertaste like when you've eaten something fatty or oily and have a bit of an aftertaste in your throat.Energy wise they are a good boost and kick in much quicker than solid foods. When matched with water or juice there's no upset belly in terms of energy drink belly rot or guts moving fast.Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Strange Texture But Great Flavour
I ordered this for my son who has started his keep fit life at the local gym. As these should help him with exercise and recovery I thought it might help.On opening, this pack comes with twelve small sachets of a gel type supplement, before giving these to my son, my wife and I tried one each and whilst my wife loved it I wasn't quite sure what to make of it, lol.The sachet opens easily enough and I then had to squeeze the gel into my mouth then swallow. The gel has a thick and slightly gunky sort of texture which I found to be very odd but once swallowed the flavour comes through and is a lovely fruity berry which leaves the same yummy aftertaste. My son has now finished this pack and tells me that it did help him with stamina and recovery, once he got used to the texture he thoroughly enjoyed taking them and he says that he is going to be ordering more of them.Terrific exercise and sports supplement with a great flavour.Recommended.

Okay - but pricey for what it is.
This energy gel is okay, but nothing more than that - and for £1.66 per sachet I would expect something a bit more special. The flavour is fine, but the mouthfeel is very syrup-like.I referee rugby union, so something like this is quite handy to have in your bag for a quick half-time energy boost - but I won't be spending £1.66 per portion on this.

Not the best flavour, but effective :)
If you are a sportsperson, then these are a great option to keep you from feeling hungry or experiencing a drop of energy mid training-session or event. Although they are branded for 'soccer', they're actually full of what you need for rugby, running, swimming, and whatever else. Each sachet has an easy to tear open lid and the liquid inside is thick enough that it won't easily splash all over the place whilst you try to drink it.Everything in this is what you'd expect from a gel. It has a good amount of electrolytes and carbohydrates to keep you hydrated and replenish energy stores.I would say that the berry flavour wasn't exactly nice - it's not disgusting, but it's certainly not something I'd choose to drink if it wasn't for the ingredients that I know help performance. To be fair, there's very few of these gels that I've found which do taste good... so it's not alone in that.

A bit sweet but effective
These energy gel sachets come in a brightly coloured box which gives a sort of indication to the flavour and each gel sachet has a rip off at the top which then allows you to squeeze the contents in to your mouth. I did find that with a couple of sachets the top didn't rip properly and it was then a pain to get the gel out.Whilst these are advertised for football players I've been taking these before running and have found that they do seem to give you an extra boost at least for the first part of your run and I don't feel as dehydrated at the end. The flavour has quite a pleasant berry taste to it although like many gels they are extremely sweet and feel like you're just emptying a tube of liquid sugar in to your mouth. As it feels like these do help during exercise I probably will purchase more but would like to see what other flavours they have as whilst this one doesn't taste too bad, I'm yet to find a gel that I really like. Otherwise I highly recommend these.

Fruity Power in a Sachet
FUEL90 Energy Gel - Mixed Berry Flavour 12 x 70g Gel sachetsThe sachets arrive in the manufacturers box and contain 12 x 70g gel sachets.I ordered these sachets thinking they were from the same brand as my protein breakfast shakes and granola cereals as they are also by the brand Fuel and I didn't notice these were called Fuel90, a little confusion on my behalf.Anyway these little sachets are still very handy for me to take to work as I am on my feet all day doing a manual job and in a hot environment too so a little boost is very welcome for me.The sachets have a tear off strip and inside is a gloopy gel type substance that you swallow and contain an extra boost of carbs and electrolytes to up you performance in sports. The gel is sweet tasting and not just like a syrup blob of gunk so I am pleased I made the mistake.
