Seat nylon nuts first.
I used this bugflector on the front of my 2005 GMC Yukon 1500xl. This is a great product. Assembly is easy if you take a piece of 1/8" wide by 2" long duct tape (or equivalent) and tape each nylon nut in the square holes under the hood first. (there may be a square hole in the center of the hood which will be unused). Then screw the 4 phillips screw into the rubber grommets then place the ventshade in place and then starting with one of the inside holes screw it into place then do the other inside hole then the outside holes. It took about 5 min to mount it. PS. It's a dust magnet so give it a coat of good wax.

Attractive and functional
Product was extremely easy to install. The instructions were clear and the holes in the shield lined up perfectly with the holes in the hood from the factory. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the fitment, style, and functionality of the bug shield.

If I could give it more stars for easy install I would. I took 8 minutes to install it because I read the instructions 4 times because I couldn’t believe it was that easy. Don’t over tighten the screws!!

nice initial installation and look/finish
The fit and finish were great and the instructions and mounting were clear. There was a sticker that needed to be removed. I resorted to GoofOff solvent and wiped it off and washed it after. The chrome finish was unaffected by this. It remains to be seen how it stands up to rock chips and cleaning bugs and to UV exposure.

Clean the area where the adhesive strip will contact with the alcohol wipe only. Easy to install and looks good on my 99 GMC Sierra.

Fit great was exactly as described
Fit great was exactly as described. I must not have read the description full as I have never installed a bug deflector without using any bolts or screws, these deflectors only use 2 way tape. Hopefully it will last but so far am very pleased with it.

FITS PERFECTLY
The Bugdeflector II fits on my 2004 3500 GMC perfectly. It is attractive and installs in minutes.
