Owner 5149 Ultrahead Finesse Round Head Super Needle Hook

I very much wanted these to be good but these are very disappointing. I should of expected as much based on the listing's picture but the reviews got me to purchase these. There are sharp jagged pieces inside the eye you tie your line to that cut your line. Like I said, you can see this in the listing's pictures but I took a chance because I thought Owner was a trusted brand name in fishing that knew what they where doing. Out of the 5 hooks in the pack, 3 of them have this defect on them. I will not use these any more and continue my search for a in stock proper Texas Ned rig hook.

I use these hooks because they work well with 4" Keitech Easy Shiners (and Rage Tails or any craw). And Discount Tackle shipped fast.

This is the perfect size for small shakey head worms and creature baits.

One of the best hooks in my arsenal. Yes these are tiny, they're #1, that's what makes them so powerful for finesse fishing. These are a dream for smallmouth and river fishing.Owner also makes bigger ones in 2/0 which are also sold on Amazon as well. Take note of the listed model number and compare it on Owner's website to make sure you're getting the hook you want

I have tried dozens of different shakey head jigs and nothing come close to the Owner setup. I fish the shakeyhead almost exclusively and this one is so far superior to all the others its like driving a pinto vs a ferrari.

I use these to rig worms shaky head style and pair them with the 'squirrel tail' worms also available on Amazon. So far it's been a deadly combo and put several bass in my boat. Sharp, strong, several sizes...they've worked well for me.

These are fantastic for fishing in the weeds and cover. I use them for ned rigs too. Weedless ned rigs work great for pulling skiddish fish out of the thick stuff.
