Excellent hammock for a range of rodent pets! As a rat breeder I've gone through so many different hammocks as most don't last longer than a week or two due to the ropes being chewed. The thick wooden pegs and metal fixtures on this item means you can fix this very firmly anywhere in the cage. It also means, it can take quite a bit of weight! This is the only long lasting hammock I have found to work and I have bought multiple of these items. (Also very good value for money). In my experience, it can comfortably sleep more than 4 adult male rats when fixed correctly (So that's approx 2kg's of weight)!!. My baby rats also love it, there are sometimes up to 10 snuggled in there one at a time. My only tip of advice is to make sure the material completely sits over the wooden pegs or your pets might be tempted to start chewing the wood - other than this, I genuinely can't fault this item. Easy to clean the material in the machine and very comfy.Overall, a very comfortable, durable and affordable product - recommended by a very happy rat breeder and her very happy, cozy rats :-)

My hammy loves it! She does like to nibble on it too but it's held together well so far. She doesn't seem to want to curl up and rest in there, which was what I got it for really - for her to stay warm - but she loves to sit inside/on top of it and if she's happy, I'm happy! It attaches well to the bars of the cage and is very sturdy, also easy to dismantle from the wooden bars for easy cleaning in washing machine. 🐹 👌

Bought for my rats, as my hamster probably would not care for a hammock since she burrows.Rats seem to love curling up on top of it. Was great when they were smaller, but they're getting bigger now and don't quite fit on it. It's a rather small hammock, but it's really soft and I like that you can take the fabric off the hangers when you need to wash it.

Decent product, my only issues are that the hammock is glued to the rods which means that over time washing it will mess with the glue which isn’t something I really want to deal with, the second issue is the material, it’s synthetic and for some reason builds up a static charge fairly quickly, my rats aren’t big fans of this though I do find it occasionally amusing. The final issue is the size, though this is mostly my fault for not checking beforehand, this product is about the right size to comfortably fit one rat (or uncomfortably fit two rats if they’re not necessarily fans of personal boundaries)All in all a decent product that is worth the price if you need something new for your furry friend

It is a pretty good product, i got it for my rats, unfortunately though one cage will have to go without, since the wooden bit is split.

I purchased this hammock for my rats & they love it! They already have a hammock in their cage but occasionally they try to sleep elsewhere, so I thought that this would give them a second bed area to snuggle in. It arrived speedily, which was great, & was easy to insert in the cage. It's sturdy enough for 3 adult rats to chamber over, & looks great too. My furbabies love going inside the bottom section.● I just wanted to add to my review as since I have purchased another 2 of these. I have 1 in each of my 3 rat cages, as a lower hammock, as an alternative to their top of cage hanging hammocks, & I have to say that all of my furbabies love these! They snuggle up on/in there all the time. These are easy to fit onto the bars of the cage & are well made & sturdy. I would highly recommend these & great value for money too! Saw this hammock being used in other people's rat cages and decided to buy one to try with my boys...we now have three of these in the cage as they adore them so much! Didn't know how sturdy it would be due to the wooden dowels, no problems so far and they've been in the cage 3+ weeks. My boys don't chew tho!

really upset about this one as my rats were literally fighting me trying to get to the hammock as I was putting it in their cage. one side was perfect and screwed in as it should have and felt sturdy, but the screw inside the wood to the other side began loosening as I was putting the end bits on. the screw fell out of the hole completely, so I took it out of the cage and used a hammer to see if I could get it back into its place. this seemed to work until I put it back in the cage and it fell out once again as I was screwing on the end. would have loved this hammock if it had worked properly as I’m sure my rats would have too 💔
