Nordic Ware Microwave Everyday Dinner Plates, Set of 2, White, 10 Inch

I received my new plates today, and tested it immediately. I heated precooked bacon. There are now melted spots in the new plate. I am very disappointed.

This is supposed to be microwave safe. After three months of normal use - it simply melted while I was microwaving my food. I wonder what it has been releasing into my food all this time?

These are plastic. I thought I was buying ceramic. I bought specifically for cooking bacon in the microwave. Warning on back of plate specifically says not to cook high fat food because it will melt the plate. Semi-false advertising.

Finally an alternative to paper plates for the microwave or thawing things out in the fridge to prevent dripping. I don’t think they would stand up well to use to regularly eat off because knifes could cut it easily but as a replacement for paper for things like pizza or snacks just great!

Had the same plates for years and unfortunately got cut up...so I ordered new ones and they work wonderfully and their BPA free.

Love these plates and have used them for quite a while. They are white and must be careful with tomato based foods for staining. They never wear out.

These plates are the least quality for the price. In the description it is never mentioned that they are made of plastic. Never to make this mistake when buying these kind of products.

Stains easily, difficult to completely clean/ seems dirty. Bubbled when corn cob was placed fresh from the grill.
