Amazing Everything
They drew each character with great talent and skill and without a single flaw. The part where they battle Neo Metal Sonic was infinitely awesome. I thought for sure the author would make Neo Metal Sonic die in that fight but instead the author made him conscious and eggman fixed him. Or Neo was broke… that’s all I’m going to say just because I don’t want to be a spoiler. I’m just 8 forgive me. Though there are more epic stuff that happened. I just love this book.💖! Oh and I recommend if you do read this book and you ate a kid younger than 10, then I would rather you rad the book series The Boy With Video Game Powers. Even if you didn’t read this book or book two I still recommend you read The Boy With Video Game Powers. Make sure to read all the series.

Excellent reinvention of Sonic, fun to read
I bought this nearly a year from now and only just now read through it all, but man this was a cool story. As someone who's always enjoyed the Sonic series, I've usually been more into it for the fun characters and whatever they end up getting into rather than the games themselves, so IDW Sonic has been right up my alley so far. This collection is decently sized and it took me about an hour and a half to read from start to finish. Each issue included in this collection leads up to a story arc that culminates at Issue #11, then a cliffhanger for the next one is set up in Issue #12. If you're a newbie like me, it seems like these collections are the best place to start, since they got everything you need all compiled together in order rather than needing to collect separate issues or special edition comics (Annuals, Free Comic Book Day specials, side-stories, etc.). Only problem is that they also seem to be very far behind where the single issues are; other than that, I have zero complaints with the stories, the book itself, or the art.I really like the way the characters are handled here, they have so much life to them and, to me, they feel more like themselves than anything the recent games have done with them. I was surprised by some of the stories they had here and the underutilized characters that showed up along the way; I mean, its not every day we get to see The Chaotix or Silver doing anything, much less anything that's actually important. I'm curious to see how this series ends up using other small or lesser known Sonic characters, like Cream the Rabbit or Big the Cat. I really liked the storyline involving Dr. Eggman losing his memory and temporarily becoming the good guy Mr. Tinker, which causes the heroes to debate on if its fair to leave him be after everything he's done as Eggman. There's also a decent chunk of newcomers original to this comic series, all of which I found charming or at least interesting in their own ways. In particular, I really liked Tangle. The book itself was in good quality with no damage, though it did sometimes make a concerning noise that almost sounded like ripping when I wasn't being careful with holding the book open (that's my fault though and it doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the book or its pages).

10/10
These comics are absolutely fantastic. They're simple enough for a kid to read, but entertaining enough for me and my older brother to love! Completely worth the price, great for sonic fans of all ages.

potential.
The media could not be loaded. The story follows sonic and his various compatriots from the games as they clean up after Dr. Eggman’s defeat. It becomes clear something, or someone has begun reorganizing egg man’s armies and sonic and crew must play detective and hero once more. You get to meet all of the people from Sonic and get to know the communities a little nit. It really seems like a world building book to me. Getting us ready for grand adventures to come. It might also be so introductory because people like me who haven’t read the games, need a little background and to understand the various players and important things going in their world. It’s not an unentertaining read but it’s very lighthearted and the action while frequent is minimal and no real test of the heroes. They suffer greatly from not having challenges or setbacks. The story is linear, and they easily wreck everything. They really need to step up and give sonic and friends a challenge. Heroes need to be tested. With a small amount of effort it could be very good but I would assume they keep light hearted ness of the games intentionally. Hopefully the next volume will challenge our heroes a bit more. I still 100% recommend buying it, itll entertain you and the hardback is beautiful. IDW does exceptional work on their hardbacks.

for any sonic fan this is a must
It’s so good there are down beats but they help you understand what’s happening and there not very long so the action comes back fast
