Super comfortable liners at a bargain price!
I was skeptical that such an inexpensive chamois would be worth a darn. But I was wrong. And I liked it enough that I went back and bought a second pair. Now, I want to buy a couple more, but they're out of the large size!Anyway, I'm a bigger guy, as far as mountain bikers go...5'10", 220 lbs. My pants and cargo shorts are all 36" waist, and they're not too tight. I have pretty muscular thighs. I bought these liners in the large size, and they're just right for me. I feel the x-large would be too big.The grippers are good...they do their job and they're not too tight. Waistband is comfortable. The chamois, which is the real focus here, is great. It's thick and dense enough to actually spread out the pressure and I find it more comfortable than almost any other chamois I've tried. I've spent a lot on brand name chamois in the past, Pearl Izumi, Sagoi, etc. These are as comfortable as any of those, at a small fraction of the price. I bought these because the chamois I had for my MTB shorts were all shot...the waistband and grippers lost their elasticity. What I will say is that the brand name ones I had lasted a LONG time, and I can't yet say whether these new ones will last anywhere near as long! But I've got probably 5 rides on each pair now, and they look same as new, even after being washed. No loose threads, no indication that they're going to come apart. If they still had size large, I'd buy three or four more pairs right now, and I'm kicking myself because I didn't do it sooner!

Good fit, but padding is a bit weird
The shorts themselves seem well-constructed and fit me very well. The thickness and comfort of the padding is great, but it's so long from front to back that it sits pretty weird on me. The thickest portion of the padding is too far back and ends up behind my seat rather than under it. There's lots of padding in the perineum area, which is probably great for riders who stay tucked more often, but is unnecessary for me. The biggest problem for me is how far the padding extends up front. It doesn't just stop under me where I might have weight on the seat, but extends up the front and ends above my "package." When seated, that creates a pouch of padding that folds over and chafes in an area your REALLY don't want chafing. Overall, pretty good shorts, but could be a lot better if the padding was more anatomically correct.

A great chamois mesh liner short at a bargain price
I thought I'd give these a try to use mostly for indoor biking on my trainer - I feel like I stay cooler with a mesh design and will likely use them as a liner in my baggies while riding outdoors as well. I've used similar designs (mesh, liner chamois) from PI that I had good luck with - but they cost 4 times as much as these. So, I was frankly prepared for these to be uncomfortable or cheaply made, because of the price point.I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised. These are true to size, I wear Med in PI and ordered these in Med as well. I have a couple hundred miles on them now and have been impressed with the comfort of the pad and the fit in general. The quality appears to be very good. I think pad alignment is unique to each persons anatomy, and the pad placement works fine for me. So, bottom line... Comfy and they perform exactly as I hoped they would. Even if the pad doesn't hold up as well in the long term as the PI's I've had, it is pretty hard to beat at this price!

Excellent quality and fit
I opened the package and was impressed with the quality. The padding is very good, and the material is much better than typically found in bike shorts. The fit was perfect, and I look forward to riding tomorrow. I will post an update after my ride.I rode in the Pac NW hills for 9 miles, which is short for me, but I was not used to the hills. I spent a lot of time in the very low gears and high cadence. I was in total comfort with the cycling shorts, no issues at all. The material of the shorts is better than my other shorts, and this kept the pads in place to provide protection for my sit bones and also my privates. I am impressed, and will purchase again.UPDATE: see the second picture. After riding with my wife, she pointed out that I should wear something over these shorts because they are too revealing. I ride mainly in Florida where it's really hot and really humid so I just untuck my shirt so it wouldn't be as noticeable. I have other shorts that are classified as underwear and running shorts, but I think I'm going to go with these just like they are, or else get more sun tan on my backside. Maybe they have the shorts in a medium tan color?

First time user
First time using bike shorts with padding, so I can't compare. However, it felt like wearing a diaper, but it helped with comfort. Acceptable quality, size fit me as expected.

Great price and comfort
It was after my first ride around the neighborhood to get used to the new mountain bike before hitting trails that I knew I needed something with padding…let’s just say certain areas were not the most comfortable!!!! I read reviews on a lot of different “budget friendly” versions and came across a few of people actually rating a few of the brands I was looking at. These seemed to be a more popular choice, so I decided to try them out myself.Sizing seems pretty spot on. 5’9” and 165lbs, chose the small for a tight and secure fit. The padding doesn’t feel uncomfortable (odd at first considering I’ve never worn padded shorts). But it is a good snug fit, not a loose “floppy” feeling padding. I had also bought a pair of shorts without a removable padded liner and those feel loose, not a fan.I can’t exactly speak for longevity, as they’ve only been washed a few times now with so signs of loose threading or deformed padding. I haven’t treated them special, they’ve been tossed in the washer and dryer along with all of the other clothing. But so far so good! At this price, will definitely be purchasing additional pairs. It sure made the ride a lot more comfortable!

Buy A Better Product
I was looking for a bike liner and bought this product because of the fairly good reviews. Well, it's a hit or miss as they say. And it's a miss this time. Well, you got what you paid for. Here's my honest review. The product came in well-packaged. But it looks tried on/not new when I opened it (see photos). It doesn't look as advertised as well. Hand washed it right away, let it dry and used it for the first time for a 20km ride.Material and overall fit: 3/5The material is average. The padding doesn't feel right, awkward and out of place.Comfort and breathability: 2/5Not comfortable to the point that it squeezed my b@lls. It also got warmer on my butt. It's 27-30C here so I'm not sure that accounts for it too.Value for money: 3/5It isn't apples to apples. It's not premium so you get your money's worth.
