Ginsey Spongebob Grin Soft Toilet Seat

First off, I'm very disappointed with this order. I purchased two of these. Words do not express sufficiently how I feel right now. I purchased these seats to go along with themes in our two bathrooms. We measured our toilets and they went along with the product dimensions on the Amazon listing. Therefore, I didn't anticipate any problems. Why should I? Unfortunately, the product dimensions listed on the amazon page for this item is INCORRECT. This seat did not fit either one of our two standard toilets and we found out why. Product Dimensions for both the Bears and Under the Sea are listed as being: 17.5 x 14.5 x 2.9 inches, fitting a standard toilet. However, the Actual dimensions of the seats are 15.5inches x 14.5inches x2.5inches, shorter than a standard toilet and not what they are listed on Amazon website. We measured each one three different times with three different rulers and measuring tape just to be sure. I don't know how the company is getting away selling these with these dimensions, as our toilets are the dimensions that are listed. Since the seats are shorter than advertised, the seat does not cover our toilets completely leaving the toilet sticking out two inches, which is not attractive at all. I don't have elongated toilets, which are longer at 18.5 inches. What gives?It is a nice, colorful seat and Super lightweight, but as others have said, design is not embroidered, another error on Amazon's part, it is just printed and on the lid only. What good is it if it doesn't fit the toilet? I was very excited to find and purchase this seat. When I received it just before Thanksgiving I couldn't wait to install it. Now, I'm very disappointed that it doesn't fit. When I contacted Amazon, I had difficulty using the easy replacement choice and had to contact them via chat. It turns out that Amazon knew there was a problem with the dimensions. The Amazon rep offered to check with the warehouse to see if there is a problem with all of the seats or just mine and would get back to me. My goal was to exchange the seats for correct sizes, if this was a lemon. A little while later hat same day, I received another email from the same rep stating that she didn't know it, but in this situation, Amazon doesn't check with the warehouse; it would be too inconvenient for them. Instead, they just pull the item from the website or update the product dimensions and offer a refund. I like the appearance of the decorated seats and decided to keep and try to modify them, so I requested a partial refund, which Amazon granted. Of course, it was their mistake, one after the other. I'm still not satisfied.Should you do buy this, based on my actual dimensions, be careful when lifting it up that you don't life the entire seat off the toilet. Seems durable enough for a short period of time, though, I wouldn't count on it lasting for years. It does add a bit of color to the bathroom, but it just doesn't fit a standard size toilet, as listed at 17.5" x 15.5". The actual dimensions for these seats are 15.5" x 14.5" x 2.5".

We just re-did a bathroom in a Spongebob theme and this toilet seat really helped complete the room. It's really cute and the quality is great. I'm not a fan of padded toilet seats, so I wondered if it was possible to just use the toilet seat cover with our existing toilet seat, but you can't - it's all one piece. Also, the toilet seat is black, which I don't really like, but it can't be changed. My boyfriend's 5-year-old remarked that the seat helps to keep her from falling in, so she likes that aspect, and probably my boyfriend will like that feature as well!

I had one before, and enjoyed the soft seat. Eventually the soft seat ripped, and I got a similar product, which sort of matched my shower curtain. When that one broke, I went back to this one. Don't really understand the "embroidered" designation, since it's just printed vinyl, but it is fairly nice and cushy.The only complaint is that it does eventually rip, and it stains fairly easily. We got diarrhea stains off using the plastic stain remover for removing tomato stains from plastic storage containers.

Beautiful looking, but the plastic screws and bolts constantly came loose from the plastic housing, causing the seat to shift and slide. I finally ended up replacing this with a sturdier, non-decorative toilet seat just because I got tired of constantly having to re-tighten the bolts on this one.

We are HUGE Spongebob fans in Mr house and I bought this for my kids bathroom. It had good padding but does not fit regular toilet seats. I would measure your toilet seat before purchasing. But I do love it.

Very cute, the kids love the design.....however, any toilet lid with plastic hinges is just not very durable. This one hasn't broken yet, but it shifts from side to side one slide hinges.....The sliders keep it from breaking, but allow too much movement in the seat.....

We were excited to get this for our "sea creature" themed bathroom. We have had this less than 6 months and the lid is falling apart. The "seam" has come apart and the foam is coming out... just regular use of putting the seat up and down... super sad!!!
