I receive frequent special eye care, leaving my eyes irritated, dry, and very uncomfortable. I like the gel best to soothe and moisturize them anytime, but especially after I get my eye injections and the wash-out procedure afterward.Although a gel, I still get good vision after using it, and it lasts longer than other liquid drops. Nothing else works as well as these for me! I carry a bottle everywhere I go and use it daily. Numbing drops, pressure checks, local anesthetic, then a strong antiseptic, then an injection and then a long water wash out afterward means I need the relief I can only get from this GREAT product! Whether you go through this kind of treatment or have allergy eyes, this is the best comfort measure you can own. Also use at bedtime to wake up with REFRESHED EYES. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

These drops were recommended by my mother's eye doctor to reduce her dry eye condition. She has about 8 eye drops a day and these Refresh Gel Drops help keep her eye moist. I purchase it using Amazon Subscription service - which is generally very good value for the money when I compare to purchasing it locally.

This artificial tear solution works great for me. It doesn't cause any stinging after application, although there's a slightly longer blurry vision period initially. However, I find this acceptable considering the high viscosity of the solution, which provides long-lasting relief and reduces the need for frequent reapplication.

If you have contacts or don't, either way, this is amazing stuff. When I put it in my husband's eyes I can see the gel solution slowly coat his eyes! Instead of simply sliding right out lol. We do need solutions but this gel is a game changer for those cold football nights in Texas!

I've been using Refresh Tears for years with good results. But, since catarac surgery my eyes have become very dry and Refresh Tears was no longer helping. I needed something that would lubricate better, especially through the night, so I tried Refresh Gel Drops. The drops made my eyes burn and it felt like there was sand in my eyes. I absolutely cannot use the drops and it was a painful experience. However, I tried Refresh Optive Mega-3 with good results. These drops are preservative free, which might be why they work better for me. Also, the active ingredients are different than the Gel drops. So, I am a fan of Optive Mega-3 but absolutely not a fan of the Gel drops. Note: I am using glaucoma drops as well. I don't know if this contributed to the bad experience with the Gel drops or not.
